Very disappointing. Cold smelly room
Pictures are very misleading. Reality did not meet expectations. First off, the entrance and hallway is dark, eery and looks like the set of a horror film. The rooms are much smaller than they appear on the website, and they are old and just drab. Linen and towels are shaggy and need to be replaced. The bathroom smelled AWFUL and needs a deep clean and update. Worst of all was the heating. There’s no underfloor heating, just an old air conditioner that takes ages to warm up, is very noisy and doesn’t stay on all night. It was freezing cold inside the room WITH the heater on. Definitely won’t go back. The only positive thing was the helpful person who works at the front desk and emailed us before and during our stay.

Great time
Hotel Cozy is an excellent place to stay due to it's reasonable price and great location. Hotels.com list it as a 3 star hotel and it holds that rating greatly. The breakfast is fresh and has a nice variety. Everyday they change a few things about the menu so it's not boring to eat there. The rooms are clean and fairly well equipped, I only wish there was a iron and ironing board in the rooms. The one we had was a standard double and it was just the right size for two people. If you are travelling with more, I suggest getting a larger room. House keeping is friendly and respectful. The hotel is located only a minute or two from the subway station and multiple bus stops which makes commuting around the city easy. Truly a great hotel for the price and location.

Arrived on 18 Dec 2019. To our surpise, our online booking for a family room with Hotel Cozy was cancelled. For the next ten days, stayed in two separated room being assigned to us. Seriously hope that the hotel staff be more meticulous in handling the booking record. It should not happen again.

A reasonable hotel w kind English speaking staff
The entrance way was a little difficult to find at night. You have to go down a bit of a hallway and to an elevator. The check in counter is on the 10th floor. The check in staff were very friendly and checking in and out is smooth. Breakfast is good, with a few options to select from, but not might be difficult for someone picky. The room and building itself are a little old, but clean. The shower is in the same room as the toilet and sink, though this is not uncommon in Korea. For price and location, this hotel is very reasonable.

Nice stay
Cons: was arranged to a smaller corner Superior Twin Room, expecting a regular Superior Twin Room that I have paid for; You need to walk one level stairs to get to the elevator, because elevator looks like on the 2nd floor. Pros: Very closed to a subway station and airport bus station; People at the front desk can speak English, Chinese and Korean, very friendly.

Affordable and nice hotel
We stayed for 4 nights at Cozy hotel. The room is small but neat and tidy. The location is very good. The breakfast is quite good. Overall, Its recommended for a budget short holiday. Thank you.

Was there in around winter spring, the water shower always cold and sometimes to hot. The room is not looks in picture. The best is only staff and location. Never come back anymore with that price for hotel

The existing reservation room is also provided with a single bed, and we upgraded it to a superior room(2single beds) If you have left your room, I would have given you a double room, but please note that due to the availability of rooms today, further upgrades are difficult. Great location
The location is great - you are quite close to 2 underground stations and have a real contrast in shopping - the luxurious Shinsegae main store up the road or an expanse of street stalls in the other direction. Breakfast is basic - toast, cereal, juice, but they cook you a fried egg and bacon or sausage. Rooms are a bit small but OK - bathroom good. there are stairs to the lifts. Tip - if you can afford it, try the cafe on the 4th floor of Shinsegae - expensive but the chocolate cake is to die for!

good location
the location is good, easy to get around, right at Namdaemum local market, 3 minutes walk to subway station. Room is pretty small, set up is not ideal, need to sit on your bed to watch TV. Do have a lot of english channels on tv. Breakfast is very basic.

Really small room. Should be a motel not hotel. Our mattress was dirty, tiny shower, toilet and shower same space. Room very stuffy.

Great Staff!
The entire staff and Manager have been very helpful. The airline lost one of our luggage when we arrived and the staff rang the airline repeatedly even though it was closed because it was the 24th of Dec. The Manager was also very helpful and tried his best to communicate with in English. We would recommend this hotel because of the excellent service we received from everyone.

Great location.
Great location for a very good price. Also includes breakfast which they will cook for you. Very friendly staff and helpful. They have everything for a converter to a hair dyer. They also have a weighing scale atbthe lobby for the luggages.

Nice clean inexpensive hotel.
Loved Seoul. Great city to visit and experience at least once in your life time. The hotel was located in a busy area that is close to subway as well. So easy to access the subway and get around the city. The hotel overall was clean and had friendly staff and breakfast was good too.

Very good location and service from the staff
This hotel is affordable, and has good service. Shoutout to Mr Chun who upgraded our room and Ms Sun for helping us book all our tours and taxi, and to the rest of the staff for being accommodating with all our questions. Although it's a budget hotel, rooms were clean, breakfast was good and location was accessible too. Thank you for helping us have a good experience, Expedia + Hotel Cozy!

A Nice Budget Priced Hotel in Downtown Seoul
A nice budget priced hotel to stay at in downtown Seoul, South Korea. This hotel has a convenient location within steps of the Namdaemun Market, underground shopping malls, many buses and subway stations. Also, it's within walking distance to Sungnyenum Gate, Myeong-dong Market, Doeksungug Palace, City Hall and Seoul Station. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was always helpful and friendly during my entire stay there. Complimentary breakfast was nice and in particular I enjoyed the fresh eggs, hot meat and fruit slices which were offered every day. After a long flight to Seoul from Canada, I arrived and was given a warm greeting during check-in. Not only that but the check-in person cheerfully helped me to arrange a few bus tours right after issuing me my room entry card. Everything at Hotel Cozy was done very well by the staff. This included the staff cooking my breakfast every morning, daily room cleanings and always being helpful at the check-in counter for giving me precise directions to sightseeing locations using both the subway and bus systems. Every morning cleaning crews left a few bottles of spring water in my room, which was both very much appreciated and a nice extra touch. Staff did everything possible to make my sixteen (16) day stay enjoyable and pleasant. I am very happy with my accommodations at Hotel Cozy.

Pros Location is covenient Namdamun market is just downstairs Myeongdong is about 15mins walk Sinsegae is just opposite Toilet bidet have auto water spray Cons Toilet smell very bad(we had to buy moth balls to fight the smell) Room was not properly clean Breakfast was horrible that we decided to skip.

Good morning. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. Our hotel does not change sheets every day according to government regulations. If you want to replace the seat, I will only replace it if you contact us at the front desk. Room cleaning basically gives away towel replacement and garbage. Breakfast is free for business guests or travelers. Therefore, although the menu is limited, it is popular. Thank you.

We booked a triple room. The room is a bit small but it is very clean and has all amenities. However, we find the matresses provided are not thick enough ( can feel the coil springs inside).

Narrow steep stair to 2nd floor for the elevator
Never recommend Cozy Hotel. Telephone limited to front and room to room, not for any outside local calls. I mistaken to left in the room, few drawers with camera, iPod, etc. during checkout, non of the items kept in Lost and Found, after my checkout. Shower only at narrow toilet room!??? with curtain, no bathtub, of course. Breakfast cheaply stuffed. Room so narrow, table is only 1ft deep. Just, NEVER TRY this terrible COZY HOTEL?!?!

(Room telephone is only available in rooms and front connection.) Breakfast is a service for Expedia customers. The room was nice, the hotel does not appear to be new but is very well taken care of! Hidden from the main street but the hotel is easy to find. The hotel is quiet and comfortable.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights and I could change from a twin room to a triple room at the last night due to a bad smell coming from the bathroom. The staff is very helpful.
