There is a lack of sound proofing in the rooms, we can hear all the noise in the neighboring rooms. The bathroom is non existent- they are just cubical with frosted glass so there is no privacy at all. We had the loft and it was so small with our young child and luggage the sofa bed dosent even fit properly. The room design lacks comfort- no where to hang used towels- no where to put luggages. Location is great but the hotel needs to re design the rooms.

The hotel is very handy to Bugis MRT which is on the East-West (Airport) train line and Downtown line that gets you over to the bay front. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice pool area with a view whenever you need to cool off. There is a bit of street noise at night, so a higher up room is recommended.

Most rooms are tight on space - we went with the queen bed loft which has a fold-out sofa bed for 1 on the main floor (front desk will arrange for extra bedding to be brought to your room). Upstairs is only for the bed and TV (no space for any luggage up there). My only real gripe is this desire in Singaporean and Malaysian hotels (not just Mercure) to have frosted glass toilets areas in the room right next to the living area?? Not much privavcy with that. Also, having sinks outside the toilet dont really contribute to better hygiene. Fixtures are great though and there's a separate filtered water tap for drinking or refilling a warer bottle before heading out. Didn't get a chance to chill at the inifinity pool (view is nothing special but was nice and clean with towels available). Lots of local places/mall nearby for a quick breakfast, so we didnt get the breakfast package. Overall, we slept well which is pretty important!

Very convenient location near an MRT station. However, there was suspected black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom where previous water damage occurred. In addition, the only soap in the bathroom was in a dispenser fixed on the wall by the tub (and not by the sink.)

Small rooms and horrible design. Water pressure low, shower door inward facing making it hard to get in and out, toilet roll behind the toilet makes it hard to reach, clothes hanging area low causing shirts to hang over other the safe and amenities -wrinkles!!!, bed is comfortable but pillows are horrible… got neck and back issues after 5 nights on them. 5out of the 6 people also staying said they were not able to use them, resulting in us of clothes and towels to sleep. TV channels limited and many not working. Breakfast was not great, staff at restaurant unpleasant (chef literally bumped passed me rudely as I was getting food)… ate there twice and ended up going out for breakfast on the other days. Front of house staff were fine, but lied about a few things which was very disappointing. Never going back, and would highly recommend people AVOID this hotel

Perfect business hotel.
Very quiet and cozy. Room was small but comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet and effective. Room was quiet and couldn’t hear anything outside. Pool was great and never crowded.

Centrally located and easy walking to dining, train, good quality pool, excellent buffet breakfast with local and western options, room was adequate. I stayed for 4 nights and was able to get to hotel from airport on metro. I appreciated the laundry service on site (14 SG dollars).

Room is small but cozy and comfortable. Filtered tap water is eco-friendly. If not for the stained curtains, not something the cleaning crew can do, it would have been perfect. Great location for shopping and dining. Enjoyed a relaxing Easter Sunday lunch at Royale.

Well located and close to Bugis MRT station, shopping malls and the famous Bugis Steet. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and especially appreciated the service and courtesy of the table staff there. The rooftop garden was nicely setup with outdoor seatings, which we enjoyed looking at the city in the evenings. The rooms are clean, but as described by many other previous guests, a little small. There aren't any space to properly set down a suitcase/luggage, and there isn't a wardrobe, except only a hook and four cloth hangers. The design of shower and toilet cubicles can be a little awkward to use, due to the already limited room space. Overall, the hotel is clean and modern, and we had a pleasant stay.

Good location and friendly service.
Had one of the duplex rooms. Really appreciate the cosy seperate sleeping area. Stairs take up a lot of space. One negative about room is lack of cupboard space. You get three hangars and one small shelf, that's not acceptable for a business trip where clothes need to be unpacked and hung. Food at hotel is below par, room service is food is just bad. Tons of options in neighbourhood so dowlet this put you off, just be forewarned and don't pay extra for breakfast for example.

We checked into a Signature Loft Suite. The suite was extremely small. The bed is actually a mattress on the floor that cannot be seen in the pictures provided. No space for clothing. 4 hangers are provided as standard. We went to see the manager. Who stated the rooms are as shown in the pictures (which was the answer to all our queries) He offered to move us to a standard room but again no facilities for a stay > 2 nights. I was very upset as this stay was for 10 nights. He showed us other options i.e. corner suite but wanted $100 per night for this. We stated that the room we booked did not meet the needs or the ability for me (older lady) to get of the a mattress on the floor. We exchanged to a fully accessible room. However, although he wanted more $ for the corner suite. They didn't offer a refund following a downgrade. The lobby area is over airconditioned. The rooms TV constantly switched on and off. I know the TV is not a big deal when on holiday but it is nice to relax to before sleeping. The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom. I asked the concierge for a freestanding mirror for the main bedroom. He asked for our room number but nothing arrived. On a positive note, the hotel is very well located. Nice pool area. BUT, there are plenty of other hotels in the region too.

Nice public areas, friendly staff.
The public areas are very nice, with three different outdoor areas and a nice, though overly air-conditioned lobby. The pool is nice; the jacuzzi has only cold water- not comfortable in December! The room, bed,pillows, towels and bathrobes are very comfortable and the shower is good and strong with plenty of hot water. Negatives: almost nowhere to put clothing and suitcases. No shelves or drawers; only a short bar for hanging clothes. Suitable only for very short stays. Housekeeping was Responsive and brought us extra hangers, facecloths (there were none) and bottled water quickly. Also an ironing board and iron. All staff very kind and helpful. Location excellent.

Good location and comfortable stay.
Good location, very close to both mrt bugis and mrt bras basah. Hotel is compact and clean, perfect for solo traveller. Maybe ok too for 2 people but may need more clothes hanger if 2 ppl staying as the room only provides 4 clothes hanger place/not actually a wardrobe but wall hanger. Overall i am very satisfied with my stayed and want go back to stay here if visiting singapore again.
