Good short-stay inn
The free breakfast was okay, but I expected that boiled eggs would be served because it was in the featured photos.But the staff was very accommodating. As for the room, the upper bunk is too high.

Full of noise during night at it is located at the roadside and bus stop station. The blanket provided is light blanket. Website stated buffet breakfat. In fact just unlimited white bread provided. It is advise to stated breakfast provided instaead of buffet breakfast. Stated hair dryer provided (on request). In fact is provided but with charging. The property condition is so old and and door is lock using key instead of card. The door condition make me feel unsafety. The light in the room quite dim. Hopelfully all of this can be improved.

False advertisement
I did not know this was a Hostel and I paid for 4 nights for my husband, his business partner and our son. Upon arrival my husband discovered it was a Hostel and wanted to cancel and rebook for a real Hotel. I called Hotel.com and they called the Hotel and the Hotel refused to refund any of my $367.44 that I had paid. I asked if I can at least pay for the 1st night and they refund the 3 nights back and it was a NO!. False advertising, if it a Hostel, please put Hostel not Inn. Its misleading. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This guest NEVER TURNED up at our property during their entire reservation period. On the second day of their booked period, only a LOCAL FRIEND of this guest turned up at our property and wanted to cancel the booking. The property politely & clearly informed about the CANCELLATION POLICY and explained the penalties for this case of ‘NON-TURN UP’ as per reservation. As like any law abiding responsible property, we just simply followed our PUBLISHED RULES. A CCTV recording of the entire episode is available for verification. As per the Singapore Tourism Board, the authorised government body to issue Hotel Licenses in Singapore, our property is classifed as “TOURIST HOTEL”. So her comments “False Advertisement” and “misleading” are totally incorrect and written just to malign us with MALICIOUS INTENTIONS and also written WITHOUT EVER VISITING our property. We Strongly condemn this sort of unethical & unfair practices by Guests. Mitraa Inn is always committed to FAIR & HONEST way of business dealings and genuine Customer service at all times.

Comfortable stay. Good location
Mitraa inn is a good place to stay with limited budget. The best thing I liked is that it has a bus stop right in front of the main entrance. Its easier to travel by bus in Singapore. So after a long and tired day visiting the attractions, you can reach here easily by bus. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Reaching the upper bed needs some strong shoulders. The staff, at all times are very friendly and help you out in every way possible. You can book attraction tickets here at discounted price. Every payment is by cash. It has a small convenience store which has items of daily needs. For Indian travellers, there is Indian food available at 5 minutes walk. MTR and Anand bhavan are nearest Indian restaurants The breakfast offered was good with Bread and peanut butter and fruits. If you are on a tight budget and prefer a clean accommodation, you can stay here

Great Staff
We enjoyed our stay at Mitraa Inn. The staff were super friendly from the minute we arrived. The location is great; in the heart of Little India with several great places to eat nearby and 5 minutes walk to Farrer Park MRT (underground station). The beds were comfortable but it would have been better with thicker and bigger blankets, especially as we couldn’t turn the aircon off which meant that the top bunks were a bit too cold. Bathroom was great. Breakfast was fine if a little basic, i.e as much toast and either chocolate spread or peanut butter as you can eat, with tea and fruit. The only real negative is that the hostel is next door to a karaoke bar which is REALLY noisy and goes on until 3:30am some nights, so if you’re a light sleeper, or don’t like to hear drunken men murdering Delilah, then this may not be the place for you.

the first 2 nights was alright according to the price we paid but the last nite we were in one room on the third floor. There was bed bugs..Bed bugs are UNACCEPTABLE as far as I know in a hotel room. Rooms are almost illegal for the number of occupants per square footage. Managers were helpful but there needs a lot done for this place. Not going there again and wouldn't recommend it.

You were extremely happy with our facilities & services, so booked for 1 more night with us to stay during your return trip after week long holidays at Malaysia. On your return trip, you stayed only for few hours on the night of 30th March’18 before you took a flight early in the morning. We always take care about our cleanliness standards and have routine check-up & maintenance in our premises. If there is any issue as you had written, the same would have been reported by all other genuine travellers who stayed with us. Unfortunately, we believe you should have had some bad experience during your week long vacation in another country in-between and got confused with our property. Also, please be informed that our property is licensed and certified by all regulatory Government departments to legally function as a hostel in Singapore. We humbly hope you will give us a chance to pamper you during your next visit to Singapore

Average hostel fairly basic
It was ok for what it is - a basic hostel. The rooms are small and there are not many bathrooms. Breakfast was also fairly basic - just toast.

Your partner who checked-in later at 3:00 PM informed us that you will be checking out earlier to catch a late night flight & recorded it in the check-in form. Accordingly, both of you checked-out at 9PM on the same day. Meanwhile, our property along with our bathrooms & toilets are always kept neat & clean, as per Singapore cleanliness standards. It is a surprise to read your comments that you didn’t shower for 1 day, which is contradictory to your stay duration & reasons recorded for it. We look forward to host you again to experience our friendly services & cleaner facilities.

I found the hotel are very good nice with excellent air conditioning and affordable price with good breakfast. Close to all facility,bus stop are in front door. Staff are very always be helpful and I would recemmend this hotel.

This is not a nice place to stay in Singapore
Very small room with very old, broken bed, no handle in the window (heat and noise all the time, leaking when raining), night lamp not working (cable cut). Shared toilets and showers are dirty not cleaned very often, toilet paper often missing. Do not be confused with the picture, this is a 4 storey, massive building on a very busy road with an entrance through a shop. No travellers atmosphere at all. I have seen many hostels in SE Asia and this one was the worst one. Bad experience-avoid, you will get much better value for the price elsewhere. They were switching off AC in our room every day we have been away - considering a missing handle in the window and heat coming into the room, it wasn't really nice to come back in the evening to a boiling hot room.

Simple but appropriate.
Family of four staying in the 4 bed dorm with private bathroom. Clean room. Simple, small but a good place to stay if you just want a bed for the night. A little noisy at times but all in all a good choice.

The staff is amazing, they are really nice and helpful. The shower in the bedroom was not good. it was not convenient at all and I couldn't even close the door properly (I had 5 guys in the room and I'm a girl).

Deceiving information
The information in Expedia is way different from the hotel's rate. What I saw in Expedia was 70 per room per day but when I went there it was 70 per person per day. The hotel is so smelly.

During my stay, I encountered a roommate who kept talking to himself and swearing. I couldn't the nuisance and I told the staff that I would like to change to another room. The staff provided help eagerly. I appreciated that!!

The stuff was really helpful. I couöd leave my qnags there till late. Wifi was free and good. Unfortunally is there a building site next door. Early morning around 6:30am loud noises from hammer and stuff. Rooms without window. But locker for backpacks inside. It's a good hostel for families but not solotraveller. Not a real social life. And for $20 u expect a bit more

Too expensive the rate compare what the facility they have. So so normal breakfast, dont expect too much on that. Internet connection just okay, normal surfing, room okay but just double bed and toilet. No towel and toiletories provided. I dont think so it suitable to backpackers also unless you okay with that price.

We stayed here for 2 nights before an extended two month Asia trip,then once more on our return trip to Australia via Singapore. The rooms were clean,comfortable and welcoming. On our return visit,we had travelled 2 days from India without sleep,we were a mess! The Mitraa staff allowed us an extra early check in to allow my family some much yearned for sleep. Seems to me that from all the requests we made,nothing was too much trouble. We will surely be going back.

Best stay on a Budget & fantastic services
Nice and clean place, very friendly & helpful staff, location close to public transportation with a bus stop right outside, a Sai Baba Temple just next to the hostel. Breakfast was good. The best thing is that the comparatively cheapest price charged & the good value for money. We would surely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Singapore.

The hostel was a good place for people on budget. Very basic amenities and bedding. Can't complain for the very good price though. The free breakfast and wifi were nice additions though.

The worst experience in my 21 years of travel
Mitra "Inn" - do not fall into one of the biggest scams (this is a hostel and not an Inn as this name claims). If you have a family, give it a pass. Expect no soap, no towels, no double beds or anything for kids. We were there for approx. 8 hours and the staff was rude. That was the biggest problem. When his kind of z rated places are rated good, one needs to question and re-review. Price - I paid CAD 106 for a night (more than AED 300), which is 50% more than I paid for a family room at Fragrance Emerald, which is a far better place, has standards and provides things like phone charging station, a computer etc. Process. First time ever I had to give passport numbers for my kids and fill lengthy unnecessary forms wit details of my family. The fact that other hotels were full I found a myself and family stuck to spend night into one of world's worst hostels. In fact, these guys can learn customer service from people like IYH or YMCAs. I told my boys (9&7 years old) about meaning of "mitra". Upon the shock I and my family got while entering into this accommodation, their front staff and supervisor Sebastian were even more rude in their behaviour as well as provided no options for either cancellation or basics e.g. Soap. We had to go to mall to buy all the toiletries. Therefore contrary to the name of his place, it is not a mitraa.
