The lady on the front desk was rude. The floor area at the head of the bed was full of rubbish. The beds don't have privacy. Hot water didn't work on the second day. Location wasn't that central.

Hi, thank you for your feedbacks. The hostel requires a deposit for incidental charges upon check-in. Farrer Park station is 4 to 6 mins straight walk to the Hostel.

Lovely little place
This hostel has lovely location with plenty of cheap places to eat around. It's Little India area so you might need to use the bus to find it. It's very close to the bus stop so no need to worry about getting lost. The beds are extremely comfortable with a privacy curtain attached. It has female-only dorms for solo women travellers out there. This place is excellent value for money and I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Singapore!

The room was good overall but the blanket is too small and too thin when the roommate turned up the air-con freezingly. The hotel won't prepare the key locker for guests, so make sure you prepare your own ones. The shower room was not clean and there was not enough cloth hanging space. In toilet, the sink was clogged and the door was not locked that tight. I was always afraid that someone would push the door in while showering.

Good location
The location is good as it is near the Farrer Park MRT station with a 5 to 7 minutes walk. The City Square Mall is near and can be access thru the underground MRT station. Overall I’m satisfied.

Need a more realistic aircon setting for Singapore
The beds are bigger than just a normal single bed so that is a plus. Stayed for a couple of weeks and a few times had to remind staff that toilet was out of toilet paper. There should be more consistency in the notice for setting the aircon in the room as there were 2 notice sheets pasted in the room under the aircon remote control: one said the best setting was between 16 to 23 degrees Celsius but right next to it there was another which said the best setting was between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. Staying with others this makes it difficult to come to an agreed temperature setting for the room. Asked 3 different reception staff and the general feedback was that the normal acceptable temperature setting was around 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. I tend to agree with the front staff settings as staying in Singapore can be rather hot and sticky. Plus the room I was in had six bunks but no windows or exhaust fan. So had to remind a few other roommates that it is not acceptable to turn off the aircon all together as it meant that there was no fresh air being circulated in the closed room.

toilets are not clean with shower heads looking like rotten. wifi password dont really work and keeps on disconnecting even though i have entered the right password. the location is alright although located in quite a secluded area

Cool hostel on quiet street
I liked the hostel's cool aesthetic, and the staff were approachable and friendly. It was accessible, convenient, and safe. The bed was one of the most comfortable hostel beds I've ever slept in. Breakfast was simple, but I'm glad it was there, and when I felt like having something else, I could easily walk to some small eateries in the neighborhood. My biggest issue was with the hygiene of some of the other guests in the room; I wish there had been some kind of house rule on that. Still, I might stay there again.

Terrible stay
I've been staying at the same hostel every time I'm in Singapore. At least 7 times. But for the first time the staff assigned me in the room at the 3rd floor. This trip I stayed for 6 days. For the whole 6 days, I couldn't connect to the wifi at all. I had to come down to pantry/kitchen area to access the wifi. In the past, the staff always assigned me to the bottom bunk. But this time the top bunk. I asked the staff whether any room with available bottom bunk. He said no. But 5 days out of 6 days, the bottom bunks in my room were unoccupied. I am not happy with my stay this time.

The mattresses and pillows stank! My clothes and skin smelled of the funk even afterwards. Buy some odor neutralizing spray before you apply the mattress cover.

Good location
Location is good. Stay would have been more pleasant if the noise level from other occupants can be controlled, especially late in the night. Some doing packing late at night and some chatting noisily outside the hostel late into the night.

I stayed in a 6 beds dorm for just one night. The bed was very confortable, with courtains and plugs. The breakfast was included and it was basic and it was free water, coffee and tea during the day. The staff was helpful and nice. The hostel is far from the attractions but is very close to the subway.You have locker in the room but you need your own lock..AC, wifi and hot water. The hostel is safe, you get a key card, hence the deposit. I would recommend this hostel.

1. dirty toilet / Bedroom also 2. staff opened the room and telling me . That i do garbage on the ground in front of the hotel. And said, 'Do not let it be a burden to others. I rushed down to find it was a plastic bag, 1 bag I'm not sure if it falls it I m So sorry 3. Very good beer beside of hotel .

Cheap but cleanliness and hygiene need improvement
+ cheapest price + simple breakfast provided + bathroom functional, shampoo provided + helpful staff + room of 6 dorms consider spacious, acceptable + bed is consider comfort, locker provided but need prepare own lockset - pillow is stained and smelly, just provided new pillow case and bed sheet during check in. - room condition is dark, no window, light is dim, smelly when enter, bit dusty and not so clean(just daily trash collection perhaps). Anyway, aircond function well. Overall, it's really cheap to stay here with basic needs. But still NOT recommended for those who can't tolerate with smelly/stained pillow and hygiene aspect.

Location was pretty decent. Easy to get around the city. Really dirty though. They basically did no cleaning in the rooms between guests, other than emptying trash cans. No common areas, and the breakfast was nothing special.

Good location with 10 minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT station. The room is ok but there is still some stain on the bedsheet. the toilet and bathroom on the first floor are quite a bit dirty. And the staff are nice.
