"When I arrived the room smelled like fish. I requested a new room. I was told “well we’re by the ocean.” The ocean didn’t smell as fishy as the room. I did like that it was within walking distance to restaurants and close to the cruise port. I won’t stay here again. I only stayed because my usual hotel wasn’t available. "

Things began to get better last night with the service received after our calls and visit to the front desk concerning our overflowing toilet issue we had a chat with kevin at the front desk this morning. Kevin cared. He took time to listen, take notes, most of all offer a sincere apology. He wiped out our extra fees, gave us honors credits, and moved us to a much more appropriate room. This...

"I love Margaritaville. My only surprise is that a hotel named after an alcoholic beverage has a ton of kids. It was impossible to find a calm area in the pool. The roof pool was closed off for a wedding, so we were disappointed to not have an adult area to unwind in. I don't mind kids, but we just like to relax peacefully. Room was very comfy and clean. Only weird thing is their doors in the bathroom, they are barn doors so you cannot lock it? Very odd when we did a couple's trip with siblings. But overall I love this hotel, and would go back. Food is good too!"
