The apartment nestles in a small cobbled backstreet in the old part of town, a few minutes from historic landmarks, the river Medoc, bars and restaurants. With it's high ceilings and modern furnishings you are made to feel at home as soon as you arrive. A couple of items in the apartment were damaged on arrival, like a crack in the kitchen window but that did not take away from our ability to enjoy the accommodation. The kitchen is well equipped and made it easy to cook whatever we liked, although you will want to go out and explore some of Bordeaux's many amazing cafe's and restaurants. If you do need anything, a supermarket is less than 5 minutes walk away as is the main high street should you feel like doing some shopping. Watch out if you have any large cases, or have issues walking up stairs as there are 42 steps to the apartment....I had two large cases and struggled but once settled it wasn't an issue.
