Wish we had read the reviews. Place had a horrible smell, no lifts, pool was green and disgusting, did not feel safe there for 2 females travelling together. Reception door was locked on arrival, even though it was manned. No shower door, stains on the pillow cases. We left the place within 1/2 hour and found other accommodation elsewhere.

Room was large, comfortable and clean. Good location from the airport. Lack of staff at checkout was not good and the phone outside reception was broken. when I called on my mobile I reached the afterhours number and the person was unable to assist. I'm still waiting for the return call! The price though was excellent value.

In desperate need of upgrade and maintenance. No remote for air conditioning, could not turn off. Multiple lights not working or no bulbs. Hair dryer has exposed electrical wires, TV remote not working, Quilt on bed had stains, no extra pillows, no blanket. Empty shower gel and shampoo bottles. Safety catch on door not working. Electricity to room comes on and off during the night regardless of whether card is in socket or not.

The pool was stagnant, the shower was absolutely filthy with so much black mould on the tules and grout I refused to use the shower despite feeling gross after 12 hours on a plane. The power points next to the bed didnt work, tv remote was broken, told me my room was on 1st floor but was on the second and the lifts were broken. I wish ide read the reviews before booking. Please never book this motel, its bloody disgusting.

Late entry instructions were incorrect. Key entry in power supply kept beeping every half hour in middle of night source unknown why until we removed entry key from power supply box giving us no lights.

It was like a scene out of a bad movie. The light was flickering, broken lift, lights hanging out of wall. No pillow cases. Bad smells and the list goes on. Avoid property. It's not 4 star it's a minus 1

The hotel was a layover option onroute to NZ, the reservation team were slow at replying to communications, whilst the room we booked was out of action we were offered 2 adjacent rooms, no in person contact as reception was not manned after 10am as expected, property is in need of numerous repairs and refreshing. We would not recommend this property unless its a one night quick stop over.

The room was absolutely disgusting the room was filthy the toilet the sink absolutely everything was as if it wasn't cleaned for months tried to speak with management and they are never there so call the number and they never get back to you worst motel ever stayed in I will be warning everyone I know to avoid at all cost

Most disgusting , dirty, mouldy, hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. Ripped curtains. Mould in shower. Mouldy smell. No reception in the morning to check out. Nobody answers phone calls. If I could give a negative 10 rating then I would.

There was rubbish left under the sink from previous occupants. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower, only one small bottle of body wash I think it was. There were stains on the bed spread. Reception has very limited hours

the room was quite comfortable with good amenities, and the staff were pleasant and helpful at check in. Parking was plentiful, there was no street noise, bed was clean and comfortable. Room facilities were more than adequate. Only drawback for me is that the motel, like a lot these days, does not issue small soap but has dispensers in the shower. My dispensers had run dry so had to use soap I carry in my travel pack, which is no problem but if you were a family or didn't have soap with you, it could have been an issue. Overall a good place to stay at a reasonable rate and I will use them on my next visit to Brissy.

Room was below average clean, dirty floors, cracked toilet seat, hair down the front of bathroom sink cupboards from someone shaving and it not being cleaned properly. guest toilet downstairs was absolutely filthy with a spoon on the basin, a dirty towel on the floor and a massive pile of dead cockroaches and floors just filthy. Staff were lovely but I wouldn’t book to stay here again.

On arrival at 2.30pm reception was unattended, office locked. A notice on door said staff out getting supplies. Phone number listed went straight to an answering service so could not get satisfaction there. All visible glass (doors, windows) were in filthy state. Another guest came out of a room, said office had been unattended for hours and that his tv didn’t work. Wanted something done about it. Finally, after 3pm staff returned. Offered no apology for tardiness. Lifts to first floor inoperable and looked as if had been that way for long time. Hallway Carpets were dirty. Decorative plants dead from inattention in plastic pots. NO TOILET PAPER in room, no soap provided in bathroom. Luckily I had some in my luggage because reception was closed again by 4 pm. An utterly disgraceful property.

Proximity to the airport was great. Balcony door lock was broken. Carpets were very dusty behind the door and around table legs and bathroom was dusty with hair in the corners. A bit of maintenance, and a bit more effort by cleaners and it would have been ok.

Our experience started poorly as their telephone had been directed to an answer service ‘permanently’ n the telephonist had no idea how to help address our questions. This is a totally remotely, self service motel with night safe and drop. No staff on site. Room was clean however my bathroom/toilet lights did not work and no one available to sort it. The motel fixtures, room facilities r lacking n are all in need of a total refresh since 1970s? Person on site, a young man for a few hours and was very obliging, apologetic. However uncontactable to sort out our toilet lights:( Just close ur eyes, sleep over n get out to get to the airport on our way back from a wonderful stay at Gold Coast. We wont let it spoil our trip..

Lift was broken. Lounge had 1 arm totally broken destroyed/ crushed. Timber dining chair looked like it had been out in the weather for a couple of yrs, lacqueur was destryoyed & timber gone grey. Impossible' to sleep due to the growling in the water pipes. This was so loud that it was difficult to hear the tv! This went ALL night! Even when we left the following morning it was loud at the reception office.. Give it a miss, if you want any sleep.
