The works being completed in the room needed to be actioned, and whilst it doesn't affect the overall use of the room we understand it is not a great look. During your stay the hotel was fully booked, otherwise the room would not have been used. You should have been notified that there was a hole in the wall as part of the check in process, so it did not come as a surprise. We're currently waiting on a replacement part so it can be repaired, the timing of the breakdown was just very unfortunate! The parking situation we unfortunately have very limited control over, as we do not own any. The car park next door is a public car park, and we will happily watch luggage for guests whilst they park so they don't need to carry it as far. I'm sorry that was not suggested. I will pass on to our maintenance department the problem with the phone socket, and ask them to make sure its been repaired. I will also track down the person you spoke to at the desk, to give them some instructions on how to interact with guests. I will also pass on the feedback about the food, I'm glad that lived up to your hopes! Hi Megan, We couldn't agree more regarding our prime location overlooking the Brisbane Showgrounds, it really is the perfect place to stay to see such awesome shows. Understandably parking can be a challenge as we do not own a designated parking garage however I see you still had a great time with special mentions for the staff and breakfast.
