I liked having breakfast on the hammock in my room. There are also pools, a Spa, laundry service, and a tour taxi charter. They had everything I needed.

"Great new suites but due to the harvest time of rice fields there were rats and mice everywhere, including in the room, the staff were so apologetic and went well out of there way to catch them and blocking the roof holes. no fault of the resort and they really tried hard to please"

"This was our 4th stay in Sebatu; previously at an adjacent but now closed property. We chose Uma Kelod due to it's location, solid and modern appearance and great value tariff. The room was adequate, clean and well maintained. It had only basic facilities - a jug with basic coffee and tea, a regular TV, adequate AC (but no fans), and a small bar fridge. "Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. We stayed in the Pertiwi One Bedroom Pool Villa, wow. Room is well decorated and of a very good standard. Out door gazebo area and sun deck with mini bar. Room has a four poster bed and seated area. Outdoor private shower, wash room all hidden away and contained within the villa no prying eyes. Pool is awesome with a built in bathroom on the side. Food is all table service and the quality of the food is excellent standard. The main pool by the restaurant is heated with multiple levels for some breath taking views of the tropical jungle. Went for a 3 hour couples spa treatment which included a massage, body scrub, body mask and flower bath and were given a choice of which oils we wanted to use for massage. By far the best spa experience ever. If our stay was longer would have definitely booked it again. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you and happy to assist and advise. All in all an exceptional retreat and one I would definitely recommend and return without a doubt. 10 out 10.

"It was a fantastic experience. We used the Puri Nadi Heated Pool Villa, and the pool in the room was very large and the water quality was good. The breakfast and dinner course tasted great, too.

"Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. They always asked us about our itinerary to help us decide best places to go or offer us shuttle service or a car. We went on a lovely trip with Joe to the swing and coffee plantation, he’s so fun and knowledgeable, he was also so patient with us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room itself is beyond what I expected, so clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous that we could probably just live there. The shower has the best water pressure and the hot water keeps going even when we’ve filled the bath and want to use the shower after. Such an amazing experience, I really wish we had booked longer. Highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back one day! Also they offer yoga in the morning, a free foot massage when you first come and their chicken is halal. Amazing experience!!
