Room was full with smoke and cold - without heat, when arriving, window open, Wlan code was displayed wrong on TV => thus no internet, personal said problem was widely know, but remained unsolved, due to overheads not listening, heating was not properly working, could be in general a proper location for a basic stay, if problems would be ustainably solved

Second stay here - just as excellent!

This was my second stay here in about a year. I did that, partially because the price offered for the night I needed was excellent, and because my previous stay here in 2023, was brilliant. It did not let me down, a lovely light, clean, very comfortable room and bed! Bathroom and shower were good, though bear in mind, both rooms I've stayed in, the door and the wall by the shower is not fully opaque, shapes of people are visible, so consider who you're staying with if not a solo trip. Travel links are good, within about 10 minutes of Berliner Tor station. A lot of steps to get in/out of the station though, so bear that in mind if heading somewhere in a hurry. I don't know when next I'll be back in Hamburg, but I'll check that this place is available whenever that may be!

Don´t get me wrong, this is a nice hotel. Trendy and up to date. Self check-in works well, well-appointed room with all amenities. There was some damage at the door on the inside, i thought that this quiet time could have been used to fix minor problems like that. Maybe a question of communication between housekeeping and maintainance? There is no real restaurant in the hotel but for the tired and hungry traveller who arrives late (such as myself) there is friendly bar staff who offer various pizzas and they are good. So that was another travel inconvenience that Super8 took away, thanks for that guys. Also, good beer recommendation. The only issue i had was sleep. The pillows just seem to thin or perhaps they were filled with some other stuffing than down or feathers. I kept waking up in an uncomfortable position with both arms tingling. Mattress / pillow / sleep temperature etc. are personal things, perhaps it is only me. If the hotel would improve the pillows i would come back every time. It´s a fine hotel with good staff in a good area, and a happy place to spend the night. Compliments to the reception and bar staff who seem to understand the concept of hospitality.

Peculiar staff behaviour.

My friend had an accident with parking beam. The beam hit him on his head. Luckily he had his helmet on (we had motorcycles) he was caught by the beam and the ramp was leaning downwards. He had to force the beam to get loos. Otherwise he would had an accident fall to the side. What did the personal. First thing accusation that he had broken the beam. And he need to pay for the reparation.Nothing about if he was ok?? They had everything on film. After about twenty minutes the beam was ok.In my opinion a adjustment of it nothing else.But the behaviour did not make us feel welcome. This was our second visit to the hotel. There won't be a third.

Tolle Unterkunft für alle, die auf Komfort (wie Schrank, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher...) verzichten können und "nur" übernachten wollen. Und die die gelochte Glastür zum Bad nicht stört... Die Lage ist gut, man kommt schnell weiter, trotz Baustellen.

Das Hotel war für mich/ uns mit gut zu bewerten. Allerdings waren einige Kleinigkeiten die verbesserungswürdig wären. Im Bad war keine Belüftung, auch die Milchscheibe in der Dusche war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Besonders wenn man kein Paar ist. Gut wäre ein Schrank gewesen bzw. mehr Möglichkeiten um Jacken etc. aufzuhängen. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm, die Betten waren sehr bequem, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück lecker. Wir würden wieder kommen.
