Lily was incredibly helpful before our trip, helping us to arrange taxis for pick-up and drop-off at the airport, as well as a day trip to Ha Long Bay.

Amazing Hotel in the heart of Ha Noi
We loved our stay at the Golden Moon! It’s in a great location within walking distance to practically anything we wanted. Lily was amazing and helped us book a trip to Ha Long Bay, as well as provide airport accommodation. Everyone we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again if we return!

Overall a very enjoyable stay
Had a great stay here, nice clean hotel. Staff really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast good also. I will go back to this hotel if ever I get the chance to visit Hanoi again. :)

Front desk staff SoLong was so very helpful nd had a great memory. She would remember what time you were to be picked up and where you were going. She was able to track down a phone number and male calls for us when we were missing the info on our booking. Elevator is great when you have luggage, easy to get around from this location

Staff was okay. Room had mold growing on walls. When I complained staff offered me some tea. I chose the balcony room as reccomended by lonely planet but view was just okay and showed the alley below. Also shower was not hot.

We had a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the lake and all the tourists attractions. The room was spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cute hotel in a great location!
I enjoyed staying here! The room was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet plus a made to order entree - both pretty good. The staff are at the reception 24/7 which was helpful for our 4am check out. The hotel is in a cute alleyway surrounded by a bunch of restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the lake and bustling streets. Would recommend!

I love the people here. They are kind, helpful, compassionate, and always smiling :). This is my second time here in Hanoi and I always book at Golden Moon so I can see my sister Lily, brother Chang, Son and his wife, the Awesome Chef on the 7th floor. I miss you all dearly and will see you again. Everyone please come and see for yourself :)

Great location and value for money
The staff here were super kind and attentive. We had a big comfortable room which was spotlessly clean. The neighbourhood had all the charm of the old quarter without the madness of the main tourist area. Breakfast was good and the view over the city from the rooftop was great.

Pleasant stay
Small Hotel, minutes walk from casual and high end dining. Bed was comfortable, we had a suite which had a queen and single bed. Breakfast room only has four tables so probably not suitable for big groups. Staff were very helpful with the limited English that some had.

Lovely staff that knew about really remembered what was going on with us mostly me dying from heat exhaustion and a cold and anticipating our needs! Even my bf was impressed with everyone here. I also enjoyed the pho and fruit every morning.

Great room, great service. The bathroom was covered with glass, good for romantic couples. There are shades too so it's fine if you are not couple. The receptionist knows English and even some basic Chinese. Met the owner of the hotel, he was friendly and polite. Great bed, good TV and writing table provided. Complimentary G7 coffee and bottled water are provided too. The door was slightly hard to close but that's alright. Our sleep was good, not much noise. Location is good too, around 10 to 15 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. The Bun Cha downstairs was nice too. Lot's of food around. However, one small downside was that the transport of the hotel sent us to the wrong airport (we were flying domestic but the driver sent us to the international airport). We were so shocked to find that we were at the wrong airport with tight schedule. Had to take another taxi to the domestic airport. Probably just a miscommunication between the hotel and the driver. Do take note that domestic and international airport is different if you are flying at Hanoi airport.

Hidden treasure!
The hotel is normally not front loaded in most searches but it's really a good find!. When you first arrive, they surprise you with a welcome drink, serving of fruits and chilled towels. Such a pleasant experience. Room looked just like in the photos. Chambermaid diligently iron the bed sheets, clean up the room. Toilet is clean, bright and fresh looking. Breakfast spread is wide-ranging. You get to choose 2 items and there is a buffet spread of bread, fruits, yohgurt, cooked items and drinks..

My OH and I stayed 1-6 December. The location is in the heart of the old quarter, a 5 min walk from the water puppets and lots of nightlife. Like most hotels in the area is quite small but what it lacks in size it makes up for with the most lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Miss Lily and all the other people who work there seem to do whatever they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. A great choice of breakfast as well. They also arrange trips, we did The Bai Dinh and Tran Ahn visit, a great day out. I would recommend to all who want to stay in Hanoi.

Old Quarter Delight
Great location in the old quarter, easy walking to most areas. Plenty of restaurants, spa’s, markets on immediate street. Advantage of an in-house travel agency to assist with all bookings. Breakfast on top floor with a view of the city. Plenty of good options and large assortment of fruits and pastry etc.

Great location with a fantastic Bun Cha restaurant across the street. Just few minutes from night market and the lake. Breakfast had lots of choices and was very delicious.

Small friendly hotel in central position
This is a small independent hotel in a central location in the old quarter, run by staff who are friendly and helpful. The common areas like the stairway ( there is a lift also) need a bit of decoration but my room was clean and pleasant with a modern shower room. They serve a good breakfast on the top floor with views over the city. I have no complaints at all given that this is not a luxury priced hotel.

we stayed for 1 night. we were picked up from the airport on time and it was a smooth ride going to the hotel. we checked in late but there was no hassle. the room was clean, bed comfortable and the location is convenient. breakfast choices were sufficient. we'll stay here again, if given the chance. value for money! overall, highly recommended!

Great boutique hotel in Hanoi
Great stay at this small boutique hotel. Great service from the most helpful staff. Really enjoyed my time here and had a comfortable stay. The bed was so soft and welcoming after walking the streets of Hanoi. The location is excellent being walking distant of most attractions.
