Room was small and definitely had damp. The bathroom door was a slippery hazard, the air on spat water on me at night. No one at check in so had to call them and then wait another ten minutes. No water in the room on arrival. Bed was comfy and reasonable location. Can book airport connections easily with them also

Just not okay
We arrived at the hotel early and the staff were happy to store our luggage until check-in. Unfortunately, our room hadn't been cleaned when this time arrived. The manager said she thought we might be more comfortable in another hotel, a few minutes away as it had a window, whereas the room in the current location did not. We thought that was a kind offer, agreed and hee husband kindly dropped our rucksacks off as well, to save us carrying them. The new room had a sliding door that looked out over the street below, air-conditioning, kettle and toiletries but it was dirty. Soap scum build-up on rapearé in the bathroom, cracked bath, shower that barely worked and produced a dribble of water. The sheets, duvet and cover were stained and we found a condom under the duvet, blood and urine stains on the mattress protector and hair from both ends of a person on the sheets. Not in a position to get another hotel, we cleaned up as best we could and used our sleeping bag liners instead of the linen provided. The bolt on the door didn't work either, which didn't make us feel comfortable. The managers were very friendly but this hotel needs work. Location in The Old Quarter is excellent.

Booked a 43m2 room got a 17m2 room, this place is dilapidated and run down, nothing like the photos on expedia, Always see the room before you pay, which i didn’t 😱

2023 October: Major roadwork on the street. Ok for walking. Totally impossible for motorbikes, taxis or cars. Maybe the roadwork will be finished by end of 2023?

Hanoi Charming Hotel stay
The staff/owner of the hotel can speak English so there is nothing to worry about. My stay in the hotel is good. Its location is accessible to everything. I see no problem during my stay at all.

From the beginning everything was wrong! Andress was incorrect so I had to rumble around asking everyone and everywhere, then nothing like the pictures at all! A big scam! Everything in the bathroom was so rusty, bed is super uncomfortable, first night I locked the door and next morning was unlocked I don't know why or how! And cherrie of the pie: this morning went to the toilet opened the door and then: 7 cocoraches! Had to called the lady, but this is so disgusting, I wouldn't come back in my entire life! I feel just robbed, price Vs quality, only good thing: location.

Cold and no Windows. The people there are nice but the room is not what we expect. It was cold and small there were lot of noise from room's appliances at night. The good thing is location which is near to downtown.

Towels are clean but threadbare, mattress is typical for Vietnam, you can feel the springs. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Soap comes in a packet, 2 per day, not enough for 2 people showering and toileting. WiFi is good, staff are nice. Relatively quiet place for this area.

Terrific location in the Old Quarter
A hotel very accessible to all major points on interest in the Old Quarter. The staff are keen to please their guests and very helpful with advice and assistance on all matters. Provides a tasty breakfast in the tariff.

Got locked out of our bathroom for the night
Hotel is in perfect location. Hotel Staff are very friendly. The free breastfast was very tasty. The room was small but comfortable. There was no window and there were stains over the walls/ceiling. However, The room seemed clean enough. The main downfall was getting locked out of our bathroom overnight. The staff did not have keys for the toilets and had to come back the next day to break off the handle. So we had to use the communal toilet downstairs overnight. The staff were very apologetic about it and gifted us a big bottle of water (which was a nice gesture)

Amazing staff and great location!
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff made sure to help us the best they could. Thùy helped us to plan our trip! We went to Sapa and Halong Bay. The home stay with mama Shu Sho was amazing! We went to the rice fields and some villages !! Her food is excellent!!! In Halong Bay the cruise was beautiful we stayed one night in the cruise and one night at the bungalow!!! The experience, the food, drinks, and views are WOW!! I recommend this Hotel! They will make sure to plan everything the best way for you!!! ❤️

Central location, friendly staff and good value
I was welcomed by the friendly staff on arrival. The staff were always very helpful. The room that i had was good a size and good value for money. The central location means that everything is in good walking distance. There were a couple of things that didn't work but they were promply fixed. I would definately stay here again.

Stayed here after arriving in Hanoi, Staff are very friendly and gave us a map with popular locations. We were greated with a glass of orange juice on arrival. The room was okay and was pretty much what is expected from a cheap hotel. The location and staff made it a very pleasant stay!
