Small but clean twin room. Located in a sweet spot of the old town, close tonthe lake, and off a smaller street so minimal street noise. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Alas, we arrived just as the coronavirus was leading to showdowns so we had to leave s day early to get out if the country. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk was very helpful, location right in the heart of the city with everything in close walking distance. Breakfast was very tasty but the hotel staff forgot some of our order a couple times. Unfortunately our first room had bed bugs, once I brought it to the attention of the hotel staff they changed my room and refunded my first nights stay.

Tracy the receptionist is wonderful, and accommodated every question, booking, grab a bike, and was amicable to change. Jack the manager is full of information. The staff are a gem and very very good at helping their guests. Breakfast was good, the area is the best in town. In the heart of the old quarters and yet in a little alley, so quiet and super central. In the morning, the locals sell their meat and fruit and veg literally 30 seconds away. Fabulous!!!! The room is spacious, the water pressure excellent and hot water, too. Toilets flush very well, too. Super happy here.

Great hotel. Great location had everything I needed right on the doorstep! The room was perfect staff were amazing would deffo stay here again in a heartbeat! One of the best places I’ve stayed in by far so far in Vietnam

The staff was incredible! They were very kind and accommodating and really sought to make sure we were comfortable for our stay. The hotel is located in a very busy area of the city, but is tucked away so you don't hear the city noise.

The staff at La Storia Ruby were fantastic. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a quiet, car-free lane right at the heart of the city; perfect for exploring Hanoi. Lovely big room, well-appointed and presented. Breakfast was excellent - the best chicken noodle soup I had in a three week trip around Vietnam! From here we moved on to a supposedly superior hotel, booked as part of our tour, but La Storia was by far our preferred choice. I fully recommend La Storia Ruby.

The Hotel is in the heart of the better part of the Old Quarter. The service and friendliness of the staff is exemplary. If you’ve never been to Hanoi before you couldn’t make a better choice and if you have it’s like returning to meet old friends. At the price it’s the best that’s on offer with the staff the real stars of the show. Highly recommend and then some.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Stayed 1 night and heading to Sapa by night train, but my tour guide was late for pick up, the hotel helped to contact my tour guide to make sure everything is good. Thumbs up for the excellence service. Hotel located at a very strategic place in the old quarter, with lots of great local foods. Room is clean and bed is comfy. Very good stay experience with this hotel, highly recommended. 👍👍

Everything you need except a pool.
The family suite is large and spacious. Lovely and modern. The boutique hotel is in a quiet alley in the old quarter. Great location and we loved this hotel. Very friendly staff - breakfast hot items are cooked to order - nice variety. We really liked this hotel and stayed 3 nights. Can walk everywhere from here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing missing from this place is a swimming pool. But we chose to stay here knowing they didn't have this amenity due to the positive reviews and were not disappointed.

Second to none, a true gem of a hotel
Our stay at La Storia Ruby made a lasting impression on us during our whole time in Vietnam; the level of service we experienced at La Storia Ruby was second to none. I had been in contact with Jasmine and Jack before the trip, who booked airport transfer for us. The hotel staff greeted us on the street and carried our belongings into the hotel. We were given complimentary fruit and drinks while we were checked in. After a long flight it was nice to be welcomed by warm, genuine, friendly people. Our room was very clean, spacious and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We explored Hanoi on our first night and Tommy was an excellent guide in providing some extremely helpful recommendations with an annotated map of the area; we used this a lot throughout our time in Hanoi. Jasmine helped us book a 2 day, 1 evening cruise to Halong Bay as part of a much bigger package that included, among other things, a day trip to Ninh Binh and a street food tour of the Old Quarter. Everything included in the package was excellent and proved extraordinary value for money. We would like to thank Tracy, Tommy, Jasmine and Jack at reception for going above and beyond with their excellent personal service. We would also like to applaud the rest of the hotel staff to whom we are grateful: the attentive and welcoming door staff, the cleaning staff who maintained a pleasant environment and the kitchen staff who cooked up an exemplary breakfast. Everyone's efforts made our trip an unforgettable joy.

Little Oasis in the heart of the Old Quarter.
We stayed at La Storia Ruby for the first few nights of our time in Vietnam. Coming straight from 17-hours of travel, we were thrilled to find our little oasis in a quiet alley, right in the thick of the Old Quarter. Phue (Jack), Tracy and all of the staff were so welcoming, helpful and informative that it really made us feel at home in a crazy new place. They really make this modest little hotel stand out. They were extremely helpful in booking transportation and a couple day tours in the area, without being pushy at all. Breakfast was simple, but delicious and though our room was quite small, the bed was one of the comfiest of our trip! Would definitely stay again.

Convenient location, good service
Fine little hotel on a side street in the middle of old quarter. Steps away from really good eating options and touristy stuff. Front desk staff was excellent. Knowledgeable, helpful and warm. My room was not too big but had everything, including a window to a quiet patio. I would surely stay there again.

The hotel crews of La Storia Ruby Hotel were very nice, helpful, and friendly. Their staff, Tracy, and all other receptionists were really helpful throughout our stay in Hanoi. They helped us arranged our airport pick-up. Since we arrived late at night, we thought of booking an airport pick-up and it was helpful that the hotel arranged it for us because we didn't have a hard time explaining where to go to our driver. Their rooms are very cute and very neat. I loved their welcome refreshments. The hotel is strategically located in the city. You can walk to the best Pho restaurants in the city and most tourist sites in the Hoan Kiem District. It is also very near to shopping streets. They served the best food. Their breakfast is something that we enjoyed during our stay especially their Vietnamese coffee. When booking, make sure to get this in your package. Worth every penny! They were also helpful in giving directions and you can freely approach them if you need anything. They even helped me figure out what to do with my Vietnamese sim card and how I can avail extra load for data. They were really nice. We enjoyed our stay in Hanoi ultimately because of them. La Storia Ruby Hotel felt like our home away from home. Extremely thankful to everyone who welcomed us warmly.
