Good location. Very friendly staff, happy and very helpful. Comfortable room and adequate breakfast. A busy road but noise not bad at all. Pretty good for a 3star hotel!

Small and friendly
Small, friendly hotel in a great location to explore the old quarter. Staff superb, room compact but we'll layed out with all you need. Bathroom probably the best we had in all out time in Vietnam. Good sized TV, great WiFi, fridge, kettle and both water and tea/coffee replenished daily. Amazing choice for breakfast with both hot and cold options. Would definitely return.

the design of the property still follow the old quarter heritage building but the design inside the building is already modern and sleek

Wonderful Stay and Helpful Staff
We had a wonderful stay at the Labevie Hotel. The room was super comfortable, the location is great, and the staff was so kind and helpful! They even helped us arrange travel for other parts of the country!

Love the French doors.
Great hotel near the lake and night market. the staff are excellent! The hotel is a bit dated and smaller than it looks, but overall the room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved it here, the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The only slight issue was the hard beds but other than that a fantastic place to stay when visiting Hà Nội

Good Value in Old Quarter
Central location near Ho Kiem Lake, good buffet breakfast with made to order eggs. The staff were helpful and responsive. Room clean, bathroom good and aircon worked well. All in all good value for money.

Tiny room but lovely hotel!
The hotel was centrally located and the staff were very friendly. There was a slight language barrier but nothing which made the trip difficult. Breakfast was the best we've had in our 3 months travelling Asia. Great choice. We chose the smallest room and it was small - we couldn't really open our cases. So I would recommend the bigger room. But all it all, a very good stay with friendly people and brilliant breakfast. Walking distance to the old quarter.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. They upgraded us to a better room for no reason at no cost. Huge king sized bed, large bathroom with a rainshower, free breakfast buffet. We stayed at the back of the building which was soooo quiet. Room is very clean. The hotel is at the end of the Old quarter, everything is walking distance and nearby. Highly recommended.

The most friendly and helpful staff in Hanoi. Our family stayed at a different hotel to have a pool but kept commenting on how lovely the staff at Labevie were. They helped us set up our mobile phones with SIM cards that we bought from the hotel.

Hotel smell bad, unprofessional staff. tiny room
When I arrived to the hotel. They were fixing the lift. And there was a bad smell came from there and smell travel the whole hotel, water was everywhere on the 1st floor. My room is so small,doesnt match with what they’ve shown on the expedia website, I couldnt open my luggage. breakfast was Terrible, the foods were cold. staff (he) called me at night and asked why i gave the feedback to the expedia website instead of talking to them. The problem was they already explained to me that nothing they can do as its their new year , and no one is working, thus they couldnt call any technician to come and fix it. so by questioning customer for their honest feedback is something they often do there? This is unprofessional and rude.

Dear Fiona, Thank you for leaving the feedback on Expedia. I'm apologize about some of your experience did not meet your expectation. As the room you had booked was Superior room which is small and doesn't have window. We already noted very clearly on all OTA website. Furthermore, you came to Hanoi in Tet holiday so everything were close and lack of people. This is common in Vietnam in Tet. Unfortunately, at that day we have some problem with water system under elevator, because in Tet we could not call any technician come to fix so our staff had to pump water to restrict it overflowing. Of course there will be water on the floor but not everywhere like you wrote. About breakfast, I had checked with our staff and got inform that you came for breakfast while we are finishing breakfast time so the food may be abit cold. I knew we can not change what happened during your stay at our hotel. I hope will have other opportunity to better serve you in next time and wish you will avoid New Year time when you come to Hanoi.

Lovely budget option with very helpful staff
Hanoi old town is a maze of craziness but it is definitely nice to stay at one of the small boutique hotels that are in this area and this particular one is somewhat on the edge, closer to the lake and slightly more quiet than most. The staff are fantastically helpful and try their best to do anything and everything they can for the guests. The rooms are comfortable, with very very firm beds (if you like firm beds, perfect - otherwise it may be an issue for some).... Rooms with balconies facing main street are spacious and get alot of light. Shower water temperature is a daily issue, but perhaps to be expected in a small hotel and it goes in cycles. The staff pushes a little too much for tours/excursions, it would be best if they offer once and not again as some guests may feel pressured by repeated offerings. Altogether a very nice place with everyone trying their best.

Average budget hotel in the Old Town
We stayed 5D4N in the hotel and booked this hotel from the good reviews. The team was friendly and hospitable. The room was average but certain parts of the hotel/ room look old and rather badly maintained despite being a relatively new hotel. Breakfast was ok. Small thing but I feel that the complimentary 2 bots of water should be 500ml ones as i doubt it makes much cost price diff to the hotel. The 2 bots of 500ml in the fridge are VND15K+ tax each, while you can get a 1.5L from the nearby grocery shop at VND10K.
