The room I stayed in has a horrible sewage smell. The whole lobby was darkes out. The architecture is way too rustic and out of touch with the nearby hotels my friend stayed in. I would like to request for a partial refund for the suffering I went through in bearing with the sewage smell. I was too tired to try to communicate with the staff who x have poor understanding of my questions in English.

Excellent staff. Friendly and quick to help. Rooms are modern and breakfast, while limited in selection was delicious. I just wish i didnt need to pay for the gym downstairs. It should be included in the hotel price. 120k Viet Dong a day can add up quickly if your staying a while.

Room and property was clean. The staff friendly and quick to help at all times. My room was quite due to it facing the temple area and not the road. It look liked it was just renovated and fairly modern. My room have a huge window facing down into the temple. Got a few surprised look from people looking up 😆. The buffet breakfast didnt have much options but it was filling and delicous and the staff at the buffet were attentive and friendly. My only complain is that they didnt say that you have to pay to use the gym downstairs. Its called Topgun and its not owned by the hotel. You have to pay 120k Vietnamese dong to use it. Regular customer have to pay 150k so i guess thats something. Lots of food option outside as well as massage and travel agencies to book tours with. Traffic could be horrendous around the area so give yourself some time to get anywhere.

I loved the closeness of the hotel to the vibrant night life of beer corner and all the food places near by. The rooftop bar was a nice touch and the staff were really friendly and accommodating to our needs.

The rooms were big. I found several hairs in my shower which was a little off putting. The area around the hotel is very active but can be very noisy. The rooftop bar was pretty but it was empty when I was there.

Good hotel in center of old quarter
Overall, this hotel was great. Wonderful value for your money and comfy bed set up. Only thing is the noise level - the rooms back up right to the street, so it’s loud and not that relaxing. It’s a good trader off to be in the heart of the Old Quarter.

Overall the hotel was good, however if you after a quite location this is not the hotel for you. It’s in the old quarter therefore very noisy especially at weekends if you planning an early night after site seeing. However the hotel is close to some great bars, restaurants and night markets. This hotel has excellent staff, the staff make this hotel worth staying. Very helpful, friendly and approachable.

This hotel is located in Old Quarter. Lots of bars are near the hotel. My wife and I stayed in the luxury double. The room was large enough. But, the water pressure was very weak. The breakfast service was good enough. In general, everything was satisfying.

I don't know much about the standard in Vietnam. I'm basing my opinion on Thailand's hotels standard since I'm frequent visitor to Bangkok. The staff is friendly and efficient as expected from the Asian hospitality. The rooms I stayed in are so-so, kind of dark without much lighting, and the facilities need some upkeeping. The best part of the hotel is the roof-top terrace but the food served is kind of limited and not the greatest Overall, I find the hotel price a bit pricey compared to similar hotels in Thailand. ( Should note, the food is cheaper in Vietnam than Thailand)

Fantastic hotel. Really lovely. Very comfortable bed. Great spa. Fantastic service. Bustling area with lots to do. One down side is the noise from the road but this did die down in the evening.

Pros and cons of MK
Pros: The service was really good and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a bit small but had everything that would make you feel satisfied and full. The bed was on the good side. Slept really well both nights me and my partner stayed. No complaints there. Their fruits were realllly good (welcome fruits-tangerines and the watermelon from the buffet). The massage was good but the clothes they provided us was not on par, it was worn out. Cons: There are no sound proof doors/walls. We were able to hear everything on the outside(hallway/rooms next to is) from inside our room. You can hear normal talking level and every footstep and probably could hear if they whispered. It was a mood killer. Could not have a romantic night.

Good central hotel very helpfully staff
Good size room but front rooms onto street very noisy staff nice & helpful breakfast was good just small things like milk yogurt & butter not cold otherwise hotel good spot in old town walking distance to most things & taxis very cheap. Traffic is chaotic you take your life in your hands every time you step outside.

It was our first time in Vietnam and hotel couldn’t be more helpful arranging an airport transfer for us upon arrival and providing us with a map and recommendations. Spa treatments were great and ate in the restaurant too which was also lovely. Hotel is in the heart of the old quarter (ask for a quiet room) and easy to walk to most places from there.

Although the staff was lovely and very helpful I found the hotel to be in an unideal location hat was quite run down. I also found the room to be quite muggy and stuffy despite having quite a bit of room. The bathroom was quite old and needed some new cocking. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold in the room. The rooftop patio isn’t anything like pictured.
