Fantasic stay. From the outset we were greeted with friendliness. On check in we were given tea and information, and our bags were taken to our room. Stylish and comfy rooms in a great location. To date this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in and you are made to feel incredibly welcomed.

Excellent location for all the Old Quarter has to offer. Lots going on around it. Hotel is clean and modern. Staff are lovely - helpful and considerate. Room was big with comfy bed and great bathroom with shower.

The hotel was under some sort of construction so from 8a to about 5p all u hear is annoying banging and drilling. Usually I wouldn’t care since we would be out exploring, but when u have a sick family member there’s no way around it. We were on the 3rd floor w a view of a brick wall. The hotel is in an amazing location close to everything on a v busy street w good security. Breakfast buffet could be better and staff at the front desk were maybe trainees or new. Towels also smell like smoke but apparently they outsource this housekeeping job. Pretty much a disappointment.

Great staff, amazing location, wonderful breakfast buffet, very clean. I had a standard room with a faux window, which was strange for me, but that was a choice I made and not a reflection on the property or great folks running it. I know I’ll go back and get a balcony next time.

Boutique with 5 star service
The staff and their service was good. A little sad that the room didn’t have a room but overall it’s very comfortable with universal 13Amp plugs. The water pressure was low due to higher floor and the water was cold on my first night. Overall a comfortable stay and value for money.

The location is very convenient to Old Quarter and food and shopping. Excellent service and nice ammenities in the room. The hotel property is nice, but starting to show wear. Nothing that matters to me, but maybe to some. Nice breakfast. I recommend and would stay there again.

Fantastic Room
We stayed in the suite and it was a great room - spacious, comfortable and a huge bathroom! The service was good whenever we needed anything but the layout of the hotel where we can bypass the lobby and go straight our floor meant that the staff felt somewhat distant. There is construction work across the road but that is not the hotel's fault - There is construction everywhere in Hanoi. There was also construction inside the hotel as they are building their spa. We were warned about this upon check in and it didn't really affect us that much as we were out most of the day. Great location with it being right next to the attraction St Joseph's Cathedral. but this also meant very early bell ringings from the Cathedral. Again, not the fault of the hotel but something to be mindful of. Overall a pleasant stay,

Chi Boutique Hotel, Hanoi
We would recommend this hotel - it is 4 star, the staff are attentive, professional, obliging and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. The roof top bar is woth a visit at happy hour and the staff are relaxed and easy to talk to as well as providing information about what to see and where to go in Hanoi. Manager Lily was very helpful with help and information. The room, although on the small side, was very well appointed and the bed, linen and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a great place to stay during our trip to Hanoi

Good place overall.
Overall a great place to stay for the price. Good location, comfortable room, friendly staff. My only quip is that the air conditioning in the room was a bit anemic. It worked, but it never got as cool as we'd have liked. In fairness though, it was over 100 Fahrenheit during our stay, so it was hot everywhere!

The Chi is a hidden gem in the Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi. Just around the corner from the city's Catholic cathedral, you would not know it was there given its surroundings. The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and clean, and its location is excellent for those who like to explore the city on foot. There is a small rooftop bar, but you don't see much from it, and it wasn't a kicking place when I visited. Instead, I frequented a taproom not far from the hotel (Pasteur Street). The next time I'm in Hanoi, I'm staying at The Chi!

Very clean beautiful hotel. The staff was very nice, helpful and polite. Room was spacious, bathroom was perfect. Location great. The bar staff gave us such good service, nice cocktails, it was relaxing at the end of the day, to sit there. Thanks for looking well after us, giving me chocolate for my birthday!

Comfortable room in a fantastic central location
This is small hotel centrally located in the old quarter. We upgraded to a balcony room which was well worth while - it was a beautiful looking and spacious room with timber floors. It’s in a very busy, noisy street, so you can see the and hear city life all around you from your private treetop space! Lots of great food choices and a small grocery nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, though might be a fraction short for very tall folks.

Charming, walkable location
I love staying in this neighbourhood! The only drawback is the hotel isn't the quietest (although they do thoughtfully leave ear plugs beside the bed) due to construction happening across the street, some street noise, and not so soundproof doors, but they offered airport drop-off at half price to make up for the inconvenience. That being said, the service was lovely, the room was comfortable and you can't beat the neighbourhood. This was my second stay st this hotel and I'm sure I'll be back.

Excellent location. Simply amazing experience
This is a gem in the middle of the Old Quarter. You can walk everywhere from there. The concierge service will give you very discerning options and put you in the right track to avoid a bad experience. The rooms are as good as they look in the photos and I recommend also their downstairs restaurant as well as their rooftop bar. Some of the best in Hanoi for a reasonable price. Love it - definitely will come back
We really enjoyed our time at The Chi , the location is perfect, the hotel is new and clean. The stuff were so kind to us. We upgraded to the deluxe room because the superiors rooms doesn’t have a window.
