Great Stay!

The property was indeed very clean and well-kept with full facility, and located less than 5 minutes walk from the Keihan line Fushimi-Inari station. But as we had arrived on a rental car, it took us quite a while to find it using the in-car navigation system. Not exactly the most accessible place by car as the roads leading to the property are really very narrow. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay here very much. Plenty of good food around and I found my favourite raman in Japan here, Ramen Hiwamatanoboru.

Great place to stay while visiting Kyoto. Quiet, friendly neighborhood where you're blending in with the residential areas. Very clean, with greatly detailed instructions on how to use the amenities within the room (washing machine, hot water, shower, wifi, AC, toilet,etc.). Walking distance to Fushimi Inari Tashia, two train stations and many neighborhood restaurants. Take note, this is in a very residential area of Kyoto with a very small town feel. There are no nearby (walking distance) franchise/commercial type of restaurants of coffee shops (McDonalds, Starbucks). Most are small restaurants that are family owned (and they close really early).

Einfache, funktionale Unterkunft

die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe (5 Min) des Inari-Shrines, welcher zu den touristischen Höhepunkten in Kyoto zählt. Das Check-In ist an einem weiter entfernten Ort. Eine Wegbeschreibung wäre hier hilfreich. Es ist auch nicht möglich, das Gepäck vor dem Check-In zu deponieren. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. So war das Check-In sogar vor Ort möglich. Vor Beginn des Aufenthaltes gut kontrollieren, ob alles da ist. Bei uns fehlte die Steuerung der Klima-Anlage. Wer gerne wieder einmal selber kocht und wäscht, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Die Sauberkeit ist für japanische Verhältnisse sehr gut; für uns hätte es unter den Betten sauberer sein können. Preis - Leistung: super!

The type of room is different from my booking.

I did not book the ground floor by paying more from Expedia. The hotel gave me a ground floor room and I suffered from loud noise from upstairs for the first night. The hotel management told me in wechat will investigate the issue and reply but I still not got there reply after check out. I told them but not heard from them. The noise from train every hour is annoying.
