Moldy and no heat, but great location
The apartment wreaked of mold and there was hair on the bedsheets. Unfortunately, we had to vacate the property early because the cleaner arrived very late and we were having allergies. There is no heat in the unit as well. I don’t recommend Trendy Host properties because of their Negligence. The location was fantastic and we loved Lima, the restaurant and the ocean views.

The property and the surrounding area was good however the apartment was not well managed. It was dirty and I had to pay out of pocket for an additional cleaning service. Toward the last few days of our trip, the wifi also stopped working and this was never resolved other than giving us a phone to hotspot but which was not sufficient to meet our data needs.

The property was comfortable for the price, but they only clean it if you stay one full week or more and also you have to pay to get clean towels or sheets. My stayed there was from March 14th through the 21st. However 2 days after we arrived the president declared state of emergency for the covid-19 pandemic and closed all the borders in and out of the country and closed all non-essential businesses. So we were going to be stuck in peru for an indefinite period of time. So the lady in charge of the property immediately cancelled our scheduled cleaning and wouldn't even come give us clean towels even if we paid. The entire time she shielded herself behind the state of emergency not to help us out or provide us with anything, even though it says hotels and places of lodging were considered essential. So we had to be for almost 2 weeks with a dirty condo cleaning it ourselves and with the same towels and sheets since the time we arrived. I probably won't stay there again.
