Do not stay at this place.Went with my 2 yr old child and there was no heating or hot water in the room. reception door was left open and freezing cold air was coming through the door in our room in the basement. Complained many times and got given a portable heater but nothing done about water. In the morning went to complain again at 10am and the guy at reception was like "you know you have to check out at 11 right". Then he went on to reset the boiler apparently and still nothing happened. It was also a twin bed and only 1 single duvet on one bed. went to ask for more and was given 2 bed covers instead- imagine sleeping in a room with no heating or hot water and bad attitude of reception people- please pay a little more and get guaranteed comfort and basic amenities which should be provided to everyone no matter how much you spend. This place is disgusting
I was allocated a tiny single room on the first floor landing. Too small to even open a suitcase except on top of the bed, and the room door could not even open fully. I was standing on the landing with the room door open to store my suitcase under the bed. Also no table, which is something you don't notice until you need to put things somewhere.
This would be ok for some people if the price was not more than many much nicer hotels in the surrounding streets. And most importantly, the room was far too cold - cold enough to wake me up in the middle of the night. I am glad to only have stayed there one night and be able to move on.
Although the hotel looked pleasant in the photos, I was dissapointed with the room which was quite basic: the bed was uncomfortable, the room was quite noisy and the bathroom needed an upgrade. Also, breakfast didn't start until 07:30 so I couldn't have it there either. The staff were pleasant though!
