"I like the vintage vibe of the Freehand and how well maintained that it is. The property had plenty of amenities like a rooftop pool and bar, on-site restaurant, gym and guest lounge. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown L.A. to bars, stores, shops and food. The only thing that I disliked is when staff would walk into my room without knocking at 9:30 am, this happened twice during my stay."

Live jazz on Thursdays, restaurant eclectic and delicious, the room had an air conditioner issue ironically, but the staff was so attentive and hospitable in addressing it. And sometimes it's more important to see how a hotel takes care of the issues... Absolutely would return."

"The property was clean and the decor is fun. It’s a decent hotel close to shops and restaurants and dodgers stadium. Multiple paid parking lots are available close by. However, we stayed there prior and returned because of the rooftop bar and the basement bar/lounge. When we arrived we were told the bar was for private events only and the basement bar was closed indefinitely! And yet they still charged us a $29/night “resort fee”. Also, going to the lobby to ask for ice is kinda a pain. ...
