Was a bit nervous about not having a reception desk, but realized this was not an issue, it was a seamless process. And the Hotel was quick to respond via WhatsApp. The kitchen was lovely and they provided the needed plates, utensils, and pots, which really was a great substitute from all our eating out in Europe. Probably the easiest place to live, and it helped that it was located in the centre of a lively area, always a pleasure to walk out.

Very quirky place. Clean and minimalist. Loved the little gestures such as the souvenir bag, the instant camera to take photos. The location and the price. Great €8 value to use as breakfast or any meal at Harina eatery.

Great location, good communication about how to get in, and on extra charges for things like cleaning, which has to be ordered. Took us a while to work out how to get out of the security gates and on to the street. Kitchen area is a positive but a sink would round it off nicely as kettle has to filled slowly using mugs in the sink in the shower-room, but overall very happy, good stay, good value.

The stay was very pleasant. The flat is comfortable, clean and in a well-serviced area. We had a small mishap with the heating which was immediately resolved. Bravo!

The place is in an excellent location, within walkable distance to many attractions and amenities. Our room was facing the Fuencarral street and was very noisy. People was friendly and made our stay very pleasant.

Bob W really has the hotel/ local suite situation figured out. Easy access, nicely kitted out and super clean. We liked that we could go laundry, the bed was great and it was right on top of shopping! Lots to like here, even for middle aged people like us.

Hotel has a great location. However the concept is kind for a younger client audience. I am 48 and was not as comfortable as I like to be. I would not recommend if you expect a more “traditional” room. Maybe 20 years younger I would had another opinion. Great customer service but it’s not you, is me….

Comfortable bed. Good communication from staff via WhatsApp. BUT the window looks out onto an inner courtyard where an extremely loud air conditioner groaned constantly. This made for an uncomfortable stay. Would not stay here again.

Overall this worked well for our stay exploring Madrid. We were excited there was a shared laundry room, but the clothes took an entire day to dry on drying racks, and were still damp when we had to pack. The staff was all very nice. The area is very walkable on a pedestrian street with lots of shopping. It was nice there were yoga mats and a gym available. It’s a basic spot with some extra thoughtful amenities.

Bob W. is a fabulous host. I felt perfectly informed from the moment of booking. The accommodation is very clean and beautifully furnished. The communal kitchen, laundry room and luggage room leave nothing to be desired either! The staff are very accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will only visit Bob W.'s accommodation in Europe from now on. Thank you very much for everything!
