"Overall, my stay was absolutely perfect, with the exception of the food. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. However, I struggled with the dining options during my long stay. Many dishes had a strong Indian masala flavor, which was quite difficult for me to eat. I also felt that the variety of food and beverages was somewhat repetitive. If the resort hopes to attract more Korean guests, I strongly suggest diversifying the menu to accommodate different palates. Struggling with meals was tough, but aside from that, the resort itself and the hospitality were flawless."

"The really good bits - the staff are second to none. They are committed to doing the best job possible for their guests, they work extremely hard and go the extra mile to see that everything is to your liking. As a solo female traveller i felt safe, they checked in on me and gave me advice on all things Maafushi. Food.... chef made every effort to present the food well and the menu was standard with a buffet breakfast and hot evening meal of choice. Front of house welcome was lovely. The building needs a refurb. My room was adequate but really does need an uplift from the style perspective as its dated and shabby. There is barely any internet at this hotel! Signal constantly dropping out with no hope of working from this location. The hotel and pool is much smaller than it looks on the photos. There is building work right next door.....people should be made aware before they book. The beach is literally 2 minutes away - sunbeds are available but they have to be requested on an individual basis, there are no parasols available and one of the porters has to run down the road carrying the sunbed. There is no beach presence from the hotel perspective, though you can get a free sunbed and parasol which are already set up on the beach by the other hotels if you buy a drink / food. This works - triton are missing a trick here. One final point of feedback: the staff are what keep this hotel afloat and primarily the reason for the good rating. It would be nice to see them appreciated"

"Since our arrival, we have encountered several significant discrepancies between our booking and the actual experience provided. First, although we booked an all-inclusive package, we were informed upon arrival that we are required to pay for any food items or drinks left unfinished from the menu. This contradicts the standard understanding of an all-inclusive agreement. Furthermore, we were moved to an Ocean View Villa rather than the Sunset Beach Villa we specifically reserved. Most concerning is the safety and transparency of the resort. On arrival, we were asked to sign a liability waiver stating that the resort would not be responsible for our safety. This is particularly alarming given the high presence of bats throughout the island. Given these misleading terms and the request to waive basic safety responsibilities, I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience"
