Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Very cheap (a plus!) but very basic (a negative!)

I booked my room late on New Year's Eve 2008 and so my review should be read within that context, and may partly explain some of what you are about to read. The room was exceptionally small, with very old furnishings and dated decor, some of which was in need of repair. The bedding had not been changed upon my arrival and so there were hairs in the sheets. However, if you really need a last minute room which is very close to the nightlife of Manchester and at a very cheap rate, this is the hotel you should choose.
