"It’s immediately clear why this is one of the best hotels in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding, staff are friendly and genuinely keen to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and the soundproofing is next level, I haven’t slept that soundly for a long time. Then there is all the lovely extras; quality toiletries, fresh drinks in the mini bar, pillow menu, all the snacks you could want and an outstanding free walking tour (which reveals the secret in the hotels basement!). The icing on the cake (literally) was discovering it was my partners birthday and surprising us with a cake it breakfast! I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, this is what real hospitality looks like and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Lisbojn. "

"We had an amazing stay at Chiado 44. The location was incredible and walking distance to everything but also a quiet side street. The staff were welcoming and kind. Be aware there is no lift. We were on the 4th floor which is actually 6 flights up. The room was small but typical for European hotels. The bathroom is large but a slanted roof making a bit tight on useable space but it was no issue for us. The room was simple but clean and had an amazing view of the city and the water. The front desk staff were helpful with recommendations. The breakfast was delicious!! I would definitely stay here again. "

"Loved this hotel! The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, incredible croissants and eggs cooked to order! The location is excellent, close to the bus station, the main square and backs right on to the Time Out Market. Most importantly the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. U highly recommend it."

"Stayed here for more than 10 years and will continue to, but they need to fix the bathroom clasp…. Etc…. I love the vibe and don’t want the old new to change too much - because it’s just cool, but please update the wares!!!! And check in girl was super not lovely. FYI - I’ve given you all the stars in the past in reviews and book it for friends visiting. "

"The room was lovely and a great size for 2 people traveling. Breakfast was delicious, the building felt secure, and location was great - central to most of what we wanted to do. But the staff was exceptional. They gave me recommendations for where to eat, places to avoid, even drawing out the whole map. They were so courteous and friendly, definitely would stay again with this or an affiliate property. "
