Top Nusa Dua Hotel Reviews
Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali
"Fantastic family resort, rooms were comfy and clean, lots of pools for different activities and the food was delicious."
Conrad Bali
"This maybe 22 years old but I loved every part of our stay, so clean, elegant and friendly staff. We thank every one of the staff and management for making our stay a pleasure"
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali
"Great friendly and welcoming staff!!"
The Apurva Kempinski Bali
"We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Apurva. What sets this place apart is not only the staff that go out of the way to make you feel welcome at all times and cared for, but the beautiful aesthetics of the actual property, which are just amazing. This is a five star ++ resort. The entrance is grand- we have been to many luxury resorts, and this is definitely the nicest and most grand. The facilities are amazing, the food is incredible, the rooms are spectacular. We were generously upgraded to a cliff suite with its own pool and which includes access to the cliff lounge which if you can get on is an amazing extra. You have your own personal lounge with its unique breakfast menu not available to other hotel guests. You also get complementary drinks for two hours at the Pala rooftop bar and afternoon Tea is also complementary. Overall, a very impressive hotel with outstanding amenities and definitely top tier. I highly recommend this property to anyone. Not cheap but well worth it."
Ayodya Resort Bali
"Enjoyed our stay."
Grand Hyatt Bali
"The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. I like healthy choices and they had a lot. The staff is very friendly everywhere you go on the resort. The room had a wonderful view of a pond near the restaurant we loved our garden view room. "
Hilton Bali Resort
"The hotel resort is amazing and the staff are the most welcoming & accommodating I have seen. My son has nut & egg allergies and the hotel catering staff went above and beyond to cater for his needs at breakfast and also in the Nusa Dua lounge that we had access to. I would like to say a big thank you to Ayu, Risma, Ribi, Karisma, Ade, Yana and Dedek for making the time to get dishes for my son to enjoy during his stay. The pools where fun and kept the kids entertained, however, I would have preferred a specific pool where you could swim lengths rather than having multiple small pools with kids in all of them. The water slide was fun. The beach front was well maintained and both my kids spent a lot of time here playing and relaxing. The games area, was fine, but we did not play pool or the table football as much. The Arcade games inside the clubhouse was available if you wanted to play, but as the weather was great, did not use. The room was nice, however on the booking we had 4 people, 3 adults and 1 child and where expected to have both myself, wife and child on the king size bed and my adult daughter on the sofa bed. This we did not agree with as this would be very cramp, but the hotel managed to get a spare fold down bed. The room was of a good size, but the A/C did not always work and we needed an engineer to fix it. They had to bring in a portable unit for the stay. On the last day we got an upgrade to our stay to a 1 bedroom suite and this was amazing."
Paradisus by Meliá Bali
"Got the all-inclusive stay for 4 nights. Paradisus was well maintained and quite beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food is the only ok part. The breakfast menu is the same every day and there is only 1 place to eat. Lunch and dinner have a bit more variety but the menu is pretty small that they can all get boring after a few times. Another problem is we were not able to make any reservations online since they showed all booked up, we had to go to the reservation desk that we didn't know about to make those reservations."
The Sakala Resort Bali
"We would have easily given The Sakala five stars because, overall, we had an excellent experience. The resort is beautiful, very clean, with great pools and an amazing atmosphere. We highly recommend the all-inclusive package because the food is spectacular. The staff made our stay special. Everyone was respectful, polite, and attentive. A special thank you to Rini, The Restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every day. She was outstanding, and if we ever to return, it will be because of her. We also loved Koming, who made the omelets each morning. She even remembered our names the next day, which was a thoughtful touch that meant a lot. The only reason we gave four stars instead of five was our final three hours. We checked out at noon but had airport transportation at 3:00 p.m. We were told we could continue using the resort, but when we tried to get lunch, we were told our all-inclusive benefits had ended. We asked the reception supervisor, Dewa, if an exception could be made since we were still on the property, but he refused—even hesitating to provide a bottle of water. That disappointing experience overshadowed an otherwise amazing stay. Without it, this would have been an easy five-star review. We still recommend The Sakala—just don't expect any flexibility after checkout."

About Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is a southern peninsula of Bali, and has become famous for its enclave of affluent hotels and resorts. The area is home to a beautiful beachfront which boasts gorgeous white sand and very welcoming waters. Most of the accommodation options here are five-star and expensive. There are some budget properties offering comfortable services. However, luxury certainly steals the spotlight in Nusa Dua.
Don’t MissThe beach in Nusa Dua is spectacular. Due to the relative ‘remoteness’ of the area, there are not many people on the beaches here. Geger Beach is the largest and most popular. It is a public strip of sand which is safe for swimming or sunbathing and is perfect for relaxing. It is not uncommon to be approached by vendors selling different products like food and clothing. There are also massage ladies who walk the beaches. Pandawa and Blue Point Beach are two other famous spots near Nusa Dua.
Visitors shouldn’t miss a trip to Serangan Island. Boat trips to the island are available from Nusa Dua. The craft used are usually glass-bottomed vessels, allowing travellers to view the underwater marine life while boating across to the island. Furthermore, Serangan is a famous turtle protectiion zone, which only adds to the excitement of this beautiful daytrip from Nusa Dua.
Restaurants and BarsOutside of the main resorts, Nusa Dua is rather limited in its choice of restaurants. There are several local establishments that are inexpensive and offer quick and delightful fare. Nevertheless, it is the hotels that have the best restaurants in the area. Everything from Hungarian dining through to Japanese restaurants is found here. Night life in Nusa Dua is also very limited. Many of the bars are located inside the five-star resorts, therefore they are quite expensive.
ShoppingBeachgoers will find some local handicrafts and food products while resting on the beach as vendors walk around selling their products. Apart from this, there are almost no other shopping opportunities in the district of Nusa Dua.
