"The resort itself was clean and landscaping was well maintained. I was very disappointed in our check in process. We checked in early which the resort was extremely accommodating of. It was not busy at the check in counter, and staff seemed more interested in talking with each other than welcoming the 2 parties ( 1 of which was us) into the resort. It was very brief with very limited explanation of amenities. Our last evening there, I asked a front desk staff member about renting a taxi to take us to the marina. We were told they could NOT pick us up in front of the resort, we would need to walk down to the main road. I didn't feel like doing that at 8:00 and then having to walk back late in the evening. However, when we were waiting for transportation back to the airport, there is a permanent stand that is staffed where they arrange for taxis to take you to local sites. I asked and he said they absolutely come to the front of the resort, that was his job. How frustrating to find this out the day of departure, especially when I specifically asked. Staff in the buffet were not friendly, and rarely came to our table to refill drinks, however, tips are expected. Again, resort facility was great. "

"The hotel is situated in the perfect location. You get the best of both worlds, Beach and Marina. Walking distance to everything. Only disappointing thing is there is no swim up bar. "

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. Pool area is beautiful and day beds comfortable. Because the hotel is new, I had the whole place to myself. Rooms are large with two sinks, separate toilet and shower areas, sitting area and desk area. I found it very quiet at night but ear plugs provided in room suggest there are times it is noisy (I stayed a Monday and Tuesday night). The staff are so pleasant and helpful. They were all very friendly. The check in time is 3 pm and check out is 11, so would ask that Expedia update their information which states 4 and 10 respectively. I ate all 3 meals at the hotel to try it out and to support them as the hotel was very quiet. I had the tuna tartare both nights and it was much better night one. It was still good but I think the hotel given it is new is still trying to get consistency. My margarita prices differed every time I ordered one (always the same order). Lots of eating options from a Starbucks associated coffee place, to a rooftop, pool adjacent spot to a really nice dining room on main level with indoor and outdoor spaces give you lots of good choices if you don’t want to venture far. Free valet parking is a nice touch.When I checked out they charged me for in room coffee. I have never heard of this in any other hotel and it did dampen my enthusiasm for Kadun. The whole experience was amazing but nickel and dining me for coffee that is in a sachel that really doesn’t even taste tha great was unfortunate. "

"This was our first all inclusive resort and we absolutely loved it! Very clean, and the staff was so friendly. The buffet was great. We really enjoyed the guacamole restaurant. We tried the Asian restaurant and were not impressed. I like to workout when I vacation and the weight room could get pretty busy and kind of small but I was able to make it work. Santa Fe has the best gym. We went to the other 2 resorts and enjoyed them also. Each resort has a different vibe and the Palace Baja was perfect for us. A little more laid back with no kids but right next door to the party if we wanted to do that. We would definitely come back here!"
