"Montecristo is a great place within the quivira territory. Nice houses with lots of space.
However we needed several things fixed during our stay. AC didn’t work properly, grill had to be checked up 3 times, electric stove didn’t work, microwave was broken. This isn’t the standard you would expect for a high daily rate "

We came for a friends 40th birthday and stayed the week of sept 29-Oct 3. Weather was perfect and caught a butterfly migration. Super easy vacation at a wonderful location. "

"We had a blast. Loved the staff. Beautiful hotel. We had one poor experience at the restaurant La Frida. They charged us 60 dollars for 2 drinks. We only ordered one drink and it was awful. We couldn’t drink it. The food was not good and you have to pay an upcharge to eat there. We loved all the other restaurants. Quivera steakhouse is amazing!!"

"Ocean view was beautiful!!! Need more staff to operate the carts so you don’t have to wait so long to go to the lobby or back to your room. Food was great and restaurants nice just would like to have the option of a dinner buffet. "
"I came for my first time as a solo female traveler and although I was a bit nervous, my stay was great. I didn’t really need to leave the resort , they had alot of things to stay entertained. They had nice pools one which was more for family and the other was looking towards the beach which was more party like adult and on top of that they had themed pool parties on a whole different area which were fun! I also read they have a water park for families with kids. They had family entertainment through out the nights , karaoke night, performances & various selection of food. The food and drinks were just okay in my opinion but overall good. Take your hydroflasks to keep your drinks cold! The rooms were very nice and clean. I felt very safe as a solo female and the staff were very respectful and professional. I would definitely stay here again."
