The staff is absolutely very nice and patient. The place is very clean and accessible. I love the lounge area where you can just chill out and rest. The sleeping area is very clean and very well maintained.

The room we took was a last minute option but it did not disappoint. The rooftop bar gave wonderful views of the city, and the location was perfect for getting between the popular destinations between Hawthorne and Alberta, as well as being in a comfortable walking distance of the Old Town and the Pearl District. The amenities, whilst we didn't need to use them all, were excellent. I would both return there and recommend staying there to anyone.

We loved the simplicity and design of the room... Loved the light dinner we had in the cafe, and appreciated the free glass of wine at Happy Hour... Really nice people and just a pleasant all around experience... Worried about parking on the street as Portland has such a bad reputation for car vandalism recently, but our car was just fine... We had a great Portland Weekend!!!

Never stayed in a nicer hostel, anywhere. Only issue is guests need to be mindful to close doors quietly... They're big & heavy and automatically slam shut if not guided. Other than that, I might have to make more trips to Portland just so I can stay at this amazing place!
