It was a nice quiet place to stay. They are undergoing construction to the left of the main entrance inside. It may be a breakfast room? They did have vending machines available to purchase snacks and drinks.

They were remodeling but the room was great. Especially housekeeping, Sharlene, very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. They atarted spray painting at 8:30 a.m. that smelled so bad.

The staff never said hello or anything when we got there. The foyer was tore up and a note hanging saying they were doing construction. My door would not close all the way and lock unless you lifted on the door and pushed really hard. Was able to walk to a restaurant for drinks and food.

I liked that it was clean, staff friendly. What I would suggest is a coffee pot in the room. The breakfast would be nice if spoons were added for easy eating of cereal, there was no bread to put into toaster. Fruit would have been a nice option.

Great location and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was nice but my TV didn't work and the reply was I've had several complaints, but our technician isn't in and I can't leave the desk. That was not an acceptable response especially if several people had a problem. Should have contacted the manager to get someone out. Hotel was under renovation but rooms weren't real clean either.

I stay at Brookshire several times over the years, it has always been a clean comfortable room, usually rater quite for having a train track behind it ( not the hotels fault) but, overall a decent stay at a price that is well, to be honest I thought was a little high but, giving the econimics with high inflation , I guess they don't have much choice.

They are under construction. There was no lobby. No breakfast bar. Not even creamer for the coffee pot they had sitting on the front desk, Rooms were not the best. No trash bags. Carpet was dirty. Beds are not standard size. Taller than normal. My elderly aunts had to get a step ladder. The positive I will say the two girls at the front desk were very friendly and tried their best to accommodate. The circumstances was not their fault.

It was under construction. room phone did not work, Tv did not work, front desk clerk came to look at it could not fix it. Said she would sent someone else to look at it. 45 min later talked to another desk clerk cause no one showed up. I was then told to unplug the TV and the box then plug back in then the TV worked. Beds to high.

Excellent hotel, newly renovated. Good location with many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I would highly recommend. Great shuttle service for Hillbilly Days events.
