Albergo Laura

The hotel was not at all like the pictures. I’m pretty sure the pictures used were from the apartment or staged room that could be seen across the balcony. The hallway floors were splitting apart. The bed sheet was torn and surrounded by unmatching hand me down looking furniture. The glass door that led out to a shared balcony, did not lock and had a broken roll up screen, so we had to do the limbo to get out. The toilet was also broken, or at least temperamental to say the least. The door to the small bathroom did not close which was unnerving while showering (in a shower that had a dirty shower current to contain the water) as either of the neighbors could have limboed their way in. You can hear every footstep, cough, groan, pin drop, etc from your neighbors. The one redeeming factor was the front desk staff was very kind, even after his “13 hour” shift! I would not recommend this place.
