I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach from October 8 to October 9, 2023. Overall, it was a decent experience.
The room was one of the highlights of our stay. It was spacious, well-designed, and provided plenty of room to move around. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a wide range of selections and options to satisfy various tastes.
However, there were a few areas that needed improvement. The air conditioning in our room was a major issue. It was consistently set at 18 degrees, and we found ourselves quite chilly throughout the night. Additionally, the sink didn't drain properly, and the bathroom curtain was broken. Furthermore, the outlet plugs didn't work for charging our phones, even after an electrician's visit, with only one plug functioning.
I appreciate the prompt response of the Guest Relations Manager, Nargiz, who offered to change our room. However, as we were only staying for one night, we decided not to relocate.
Despite these issues, I would rate my experience at Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, a 7 out of 10. With some improvements in room maintenance and amenities, it has the potential to offer an even more enjoyable stay.
