"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"Our apartment was very spacious and stylishly decorated, with direct access to the garden and pool. The fridge was stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham and jams. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon."

"This was a very charming apartment in a nice, walkable area of town. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were very accurate. It is true that the stairs are steep. The many rooms make it easy to stay with family. The dining table was nice for playing cards. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a nice view of the river from the top floor. There is no air conditioning, so beware depending on what time of year you come. The street noise was loud through the night as...

"Highly problematic stay. We encountered multiple roaches inside the unit. Additionally, there was a major safety issue: the upstairs neighbor came down the fire escape at night to aggressively bang on our wall with a broom because the stove vent was on. When we messaged management about these safety and cleanliness issues, they were unhelpful, ignored our messages, and even accidentally shared another guest's private information with us. Expedia is now investigating, as the host is refusing to...

"The location is fantastic, with bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away, and the main part of the city about 15 minutes. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable and adequately equipped but lacks storage for a longer stay. It is not for anyone with ANY mobility issues. Apart from a couple of communication hiccups, and a road closure near the property, getting there was OK, but beware rip off airport taxi drivers. Overall, a great stay"
