"Fantastic area! Our first time at The Drey and it won't be our last! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the app to access the outer doors and our room. We requested housekeeping just one day of our stay, but it was excellent. "

"Small but well-appointed room (we had a twin room), great staff. It’s an old building, so some of the fixtures didn’t work, but they addressed this promptly."

"Room quite adequate and comfortable but there was an irritating movement-operated light in the room entrance and above the window which came on if anyone got out of bed in the night and stayed on for about 5 minutes. There was no way to turn it off. The bathroom sink also didn't drain away properly, and an electrical socket came away from the wall when a plug was removed. Breakfast was disappointing with fresh fruit consisting only of pineapple and water melon, the hot food buffet selection was overcooked and the coffee was horrible. The staff on the other hand were charming and helpful. Despite the negatives, I would stay again as the common parts were attractive and it was quite good value in a great location."

"Beautiful building, reception, bedroom and restaurant following grandeur of India. We stayed in 110 so mind the high step into the bathroom-got me most times. We had double and two singles. Plenty of room and soft towels. The room at the front so picks up traffic sounds but should be fine wearing ear plugs. Bed comfy though on the soft side. Spare pillow, fridge in cupboard, suitcase table, iron and board in wardrobe, hairdryer in drawer, tv, range of sockets a d lighting. Fabulous. Close to Gloucester underground station (exit 3). Would stay again. "
