I enjoyed my stay here. It was comfortable and clean. Being close to a busy street, you do hear some city noise but it did not disturb my experience at all. It was one of the quietest guest houses I’ve stayed in, in and around Seoul. I would definitely stay here again as it’s conveniently close to Seoul Station.

The room had a strange smell and was really small. The walls were paper thin and you could hear every utterance, both inside and outside the guesthouse. There were several centipedes and other flying insects in the room. It was generally one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve ever had.

I've stayed in a double bedded room - A rather basic hostel. The room provided was clean, staff were friendly and helpful in carrying my luggage up to my room . The subway station is also within walking distance from the hostel. However, the room is a little too small for me as I can't really open my luggage fully, the rooms are located on the second floor (wouldn't recommend heavy luggage) meaning you have to climb the stairs and the basin in the room provided was leaking from the bottom onto the floor. Stayed for only one night, hence didn't request to change a room.

Quick access to Seoul Station, basic but livable.
Location is the best asset of the property. Exit 12 of Seoul Station is one minute walk to the hotel (turn left and go up the red brick walkway). The hotel is basic but the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is small, there is no separate area for the standing shower. I recommend buying a cheap shower stool if you are planning an extended stay. No this is no luxury hotel, but it is a good value and location to Seoul Station make it easy to access the rest of the city.

Very close to Seoul Station, I recommend it for people who need to get to the station quickly, don’t mind a little “cozy & “rough” space, and are on a budget. My visit was in cold January, but the room, shower, and staff were very warm!

Really well located near Seoul Station.
I stayed here for one week in May/June. The hotel was excellent and very well located (Seoul Station was two minutes away from where you could take all the most important metro lines that tourists would need). I stayed in a single room and the room was basic but extremely clean; I had an air-con unit, my own bathroom, cable TV with some English language channels and a fridge. I was more than impressed with the facilities and the comfort of the bed. There is a 7-11 a few steps away along with a bibimbap restaurant right on the street which was very handy. I would definitely stay here again as all of the staff were so helpful and friendly!

Great guesthouse and good for the price
We booked room with double decker bed. Sufficient space to open luggages but need to close them to walk. No wardrobe just hangings on the wall. Enough facilities provided such as kettle, hairdryer, bath soap, shampoo, 3 small towels, toilet paper, tissue. Room and toilet were clean. Remember to ask staff to switch on shower heater for you. Highest is 3 floors so no lift. Location very convenient from exit 12 seoul station. Along main road so felt safe. Overall great stay. Day and night staff are not friendly and not forthcoming except the one manning on weekend. He at least strike a conversation and rendered assistance without being asked.

快適さと安全性
ゲストハウスに宿泊するのは3回目。 毎回快適なステイと、スタッフの親切な対応でリピしてしまいます。 室内も清潔で安全なので、高いお金を支払って泊まるよりも有意義な時間を過ごせます。 お部屋は狭いけれど、それをこだわらなければ、オススメの宿泊場所です。 部屋数が少ないので、あまり他の人には教えたくないくらいです。

Great central location, staff, and accommodation.
Stayed for three weeks. Staff was very friendly and spoke english very well. They helped give good advice on where to travel whenever I was unsure and had fairly good knowledge of the surrounding area. If I needed anything looked up or a place called (taxi, restaurant, shop, etc.) due to needing to read or speak Korean they would be ready to help out. Rooms were expected to be small and they were but I had enough room to stand up, organize, and change without much of an issue. Every room had a small AC unit which cooled the room down within minutes upon return and there was a mini fridge to store any small food items that needed to be kept cool. Laundry was available and could clean large loads well in about 2.5 hrs. The location was crazy good. You are a 10 minute walk from Seoul station which makes getting to trains and subways super easy and since that station is in the heart of Seoul most subway trips take 5-10 minutes with my longest trip being an hour. Mattresses were spring based and very firm. Breakfast served every morning, very snug room if more than 3 people. Directions are bad: Arriving by AREX or Airport subway? You need to find Seoul station exit #1 (East side of the station on the main floor). Exit outside and walk down two flights of stairs and turn right (South). Walk down the first set of subway stairs you see (exit #14) and continue South to exit #12. Walk up those stairs or take the elevator. See a statue with golden heads? Turn left and walk up the hill.

Terrible hotel experience
When we checked-in they said they lost our reservation so the room that we already paid for is not available. They asked if we still needed a room, which was a silly question to ask when it's raining outside and we have luggage with us. They had a different room available, they said that it's more expensive than what we originally reserved (we checked the rates and they were just the same rate). The room didn't look clean, especially the bathroom, toilet was not flushed and had yellow stains on the toilet seat. Room was tiny. AC was not working properly. I only saw the front desk person once, during check-in, that's it.

The location is great, being so close to Seoul station, as it makes it easy to get to either airport and to get around Seoul! There are also a number of restaurants within one minute's walk and many more just a little further.The rooms were small, but felt new and were very clean. The staff at the desk spoke excellent English and were helpful in recommending attractions and giving directions. Tip: The easiest way to get there is to take exit 12 from the underground portion of Seoul Station (where you'll find metro lines 1,4, and the AREX). Walk straight out of the exit and take the first left (it's a red pedestrian walkway just before the Starbucks) then turn right onto the next street.

A lovely little hotel
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was quite small, and the WiFi in the rooms on the first floor disconnected sometimes, but the common room was a great place to use the WiFi and get to know other guests as well as the amazing staff. All three staff members I encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. Anything I asked for was done immediately and they helped me to figure out where to go and how to get there. The bathroom was also fairly large in comparison to the rest of the room. The room was tidy and clean and I felt safe in the hotel as well as in my room.

Great Hostel
The hostel was 5 minutes walking distance from Seoul Station. The staff was amazing, the receptionist, a young lady, was so accomodating. The evening receptionist, which was a young man was also very nice and helpful. We had a lot of fun staying at the 24 Guesthouse. It included breakfast, which you did yourself. It felt like living at home:) The beds are a little hard because that is Korean culture, so i got extra padding for my bed. I will stay there again when I go back.

Simple and budget choice
Room is small but reasonable with this price. Close to metro,within 5 minutes walk. Staff were very kind and nice. Simple breakfast include. Stayed in 3 nights, no daily cleansing(not necessary for me as well). a little bit smelly inside the toilet, may be due to poor ventilation. Again with this price, i am satisfied.

24Guesthouse is located just up the road from Seoul Station. Very convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the guesthouse was clean. I will definitely stay at 24Guesthouse next time I'm in Seoul.

Small but clean!
The hotel is really conveniently located next to Seoul Station, but we still had to ask for directions. Basically, get out at exit 12 from line 1,4 (the dark blue/light blue one). Walk straight past the park on your left and you'll see a statue with a bunch of masks and a Starbucks. Turn left right after the building with the Starbucks and walk uphill until you can't go any further (you'll pass a convenient store on your right across the street). Once you reach the last street, you'll see the guesthouse across the road. Our room (the twin bunks) was reeeaaally small. Just enough space to walk in and turn around, but the bathroom was big enough and the room was clean. There was no daily room service but we didn't need any anyway. The staff was really nice and helpful. They gave us a subway map our first day and helped us find some nice spots. There's also breakfast you can make yourself (8-10am) but we didn't use that option. The only downside besides the small room is that it seems the guesthouse is located next to a drinking house so you can hear old guys talking and throwing up at all hours of the night. But that's a minor issue for me after living in Korea for almost 2 years now. Would definitely consider staying here again if ever in the area!

Convenient to stay at but not for long term
Guesthouse is clean and convenient but room was too small for my own comfort. Bed was hard and bed sheet was not properly cleaned as there was some brown stain on the bed sheet when I first came. Didn't bring it up to the staff as staff has reminded me that I can ask for housekeeping any time since I wil be staying for 11 days. Request for housekeeping for the last 6 days of my stay there and out of the 5 days, staff cleaned up the room for 1 day only. Staff forgot to replace new face towels and I was left with no face towels in the room. I didn't know what housekeeping meant to them because my bed sheet still have stained mark. In other word, they did not even changed the bed sheets. Staff only make my bed and empty the rubbish bin which I can do that myself. No lift so I had to carry up the 14 kg luggage myself on the first day and 22kg luggage down on my last day. The horror! Figure out if for long term stay like me(11 days) not advisable to stay at this gueshouse, find somewhere else comfortable and bigger to load your shopping bags. Other than that, I am pleased with the staff there as they are friendly and approachable. One of the staff KJ even find out where the nearest post office are for me and my friend when we asked him for directions. Jay the other staff too was nice and offered us some korean snacks that he bought while we were in the common kitchen eating our dinner.

Stayed here for one night. The location is quite convenient, though it's still quite a walk to Seoul Station. I was given a ground floor unit. The room was tiny, with an attached tiny bathroom. This must be the tiniest room I've ever stayed in. There's a bed, and there's walking space, that's it. I put my luggage on the floor and that reduced the walk space to half (length wise, that is). There's no table and no chair, so I had to put stuff on the bed and sit on the bed. The bathroom was tiny too, though still manageable. They don't provide big bath towels, only those small ones that are even insufficient for kids. So bring your own bath towels. The breakfast provided is just bread and coffee. Though they provide eggs that you can cook on your own. The kitchen area is tiny too, so it gets crowded when there were 5 or more people. Breakfast starts at 8am, which is quite late. The walls of the room are not sound proof. So from my room I could hear people talking just outside at the reception area, and loud enough to wake me up from my sleep in the middle of the night. Wireless internet access was available, and the access speed was good. Overall this place is good if you're staying for a really short time. I wouldn't stay here for more than a day.

Budget hostel for short stay without large baggage
Its a 7D6N stay. The hostel is quite close to subway (approx. 5 min. walk) but from subway to hostel is uphill. Also there is no lift in the hostel, so if you have large baggage it will be quite inconvenient. Air conditioning is good, so is the hot shower. Cleanser and shampoo is provided. Note that there is no room cleaning so you have to empty the rubbish bin and replace the plastic bag yourself. Breakfast is from 8-10am. Just basic bread and egg. Mattress is too soft and my back aches after sleeping. The airport bus is quite far away so subway may be the only option to and from airport but be prepared to walk up and down stairs within subway stations. Hot and cold drinking water is provided in the common area. In the room a refrigerator is provided. Convenient store is nearby (approx. 5 mins walk further uphill). There are also numerous restaurants nearby (I saw at least two bars operating late night).

We arrived 24Guesthouse Seoul station at around 4am. It is our first night in Seoul. The manager provided us a great service so we can take a good rest after the flight. The location is close to Seoul station subway and easy to find. We will stay again when we come back to Seoul.

Overall a comfortable stay. Basic amenities and breakfast with eggs (you'll have to cook it yourslef) and pretty good coffee although they dont provide milk. We appreciate that they have ensuite rooms and everything was very clean and reasonably new. No elevators and the stairways is abit tight. Location wise is very near to seoul station, but again it depends on which line and which exit you're at. We arrived in seoul station (the main station from the airport via AREX) and thought it was near once we got out of the station unfortunately we were wrong. Its still a pretty long walk and we have to cross two subway lines to get to the nearest exit near the guesthouse, and if youre lugging heavy bags, i would suggest you just cab it. All in the walk takes us about 15-20mins ( make it 30mins, if you're lost and struggling to find your way). Its near line 4 exit 12. Once u get out of the exit take the first left turning towards a slight upward bend (you'll pass by a small park with gym equipments on your right), you'll see the guesthouse in front of you. This way is much nearer than if you take exit 11.

Very clean .walking distant to Seoul station.
We booked 2 rooms with bath attached. Easy to locate the hotel about 100m from exit 12 of seoul station. There is small kitchen/dining where you are allowed to prepare your meal . Time allowed to use the dining is 8am to 11pm.

Very clean room, self-help breakfast included toast, egg, coffee or tea. Friendly staff, close to Seoul station. Only cautions for travelers with heavy or a lot of luggage: 1) as indicated, no elevator at the hotel. The staff helped me carried my luggage to the 3rd floor. 2) while close to Seoul station, if you take the underground subway walk way, be ready to climb a lot of stairs. I walked down to the next traffic light and walked back up to the hotel. Not a big deal if you travel light.

It's good for stay over night, but the breakfast starts from 8:00am seems too late. There is no heater controller, we felt too heart.
