For our first time in Korea it was a good accomodations to stay at. Staff were nice but room bed sheets were never replaced.

What a quaint hotel. Staff was absolutely lovely. Housekeeping was very efficient and fresh towels and water bottles were awaiting us upon our return to room. Coffee cafe was one of the best I have ever been in!!!!! Just darling!!!

The location was hard to find Place was too old and not kept Whole atmosphere was dark and gloomy Service desk was terrible/couldn’t even arrange a taxi for us… There is nothing good around the hotel Only good thing about is the salesperson of the small / tiny convenient store inside the lobby. She was friendly and tried to help! Will not recommend.

The place is was poor maintained. Uncleaned bathroom, peeled off wall paper and ceiling paper made the experience very disappointing.

Old, dirty, smelly, and moldy. Not recommended.
We've booked two rooms for our big family, but both rooms were very dirty, old, and moldy. You can smell the old moldy smell in the bathrooms. The bed sheets had holes and hair (not sure if they have been cleaned). My son woke up with a bug bite as well. We've seriously thought about giving up the rest of the nights (booked 3 nights) after our first night there, but could not find suitable hotels near Seoul is busy Christmas season.... Also, the pictures in the website must have been photoshopped, looks very different in the front entrance and in the rooms.

部屋が汚かった。まず見た目が写真と全然違うことにがっかりした。そして、なによりもシーツに髪の毛、シャワールームに髪の毛がついていたことにショックでした。また洗濯物の干すところに誰かの服がかけてあって、本当に清潔感のない宿でした。

Family stay
We booked this hotel, actually it is a residence , not a hotel. Anyone can come in and out like a public building. The reception is tiny and the staff is not friendly and speak broken English. Room is simple with 2 single beds and one double bed. Room is so run down and toilet is small and not clean. I 'm a tripadvisor's supporter and I am wonder why a lot of people give this residence a 4 or sometimes 5 stars. I am totally disagree with their review and this is one of the worse properties I stayed. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in this property. There are plenty of hotels around Dongdeomun areas. I hope I write this review will not upset people they already booked.

suitable for a business stay
the check in was very quick. The roof top is nice for a quiet drink at night. the air con, however, was a bit noisy to use while sleeping and the windows in my room did not have fly screens, so mosquitoes came in at night. Housekeeping could be better (or other guests should clean their dishes properly)

We stayed on the 12th storey. 4 people in a room. 2 single bed and 1 double bed for my parents. Good view! but the heater sometimes is not working which can be annoying. Sometimes the water suddenly turns cold....

Only the kitchen and big refrigerator was good to use because i stayed with family including 2 toddlers that i needed to cook for them. Room was a bit dirty and daily housekeeping was very bad. Location was not the best as well.

Good for long stay
The washing machine and cooking stoves work well. Need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste otherwise you'll need to buy them from the 7 11 downstairs. If you stay for more than 10 days the cooking utensils are free to be borrowed and used, which means for shorter stay renting the appliances will be charged on daily rate. Cleanliness can be improved (esp upon check in as thick dust gathered in kitchen cabinets and on the exhaust fan). Great service from housekeeping. It's just right opposite the famous Jungbu Market so it's easy to let taxi drivers to drop you off.

The hotel was OK. Kind of a no frills kind of place. Nice to have a kitchenette in each room, but didn't have any plates or utensils with it. You had to pay to rent them. Other than that it was pretty quiet for Seoul

Located in downtown.
Easy access to many interesting places in Seoul downtown. Hard to sleep due to noise from next room. A kind of aged building.

Great experience
The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near subway stations so it is convenient to travel around. The room is spacious for 4 persons and everything is great.

Basic hotel in good location
The hotel location is good as it's between 2 train stations and very accessible with the airport bus. The room was large, basic facilities, generally clean with good views. Bedding wasn't changed during our 2week stay. There were bedmites in 1 duvet, luckily we brought a clean sheet. Daily housekeeping provided bottled water and clean towels. Basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided yet we didn't use it. We asked for a slightly later checkout and they were very accommodating. We could our luggage much earlier than check-in. Staff were helpful.

The location of the hotel is a bit hard to find but there are buses just nearby which can take you to Hongdae and the airport directly. The bus stop is just within 5 minutes walk. The room I originally got had one window which cannot be closed and thus another room was given to me. The room is not very clean but quite ok.

It is very close to subway, 10 to 15 mins walk to main shopping and attractions. Room looks modern but facilities are quiet worn out. Suitable for young people without kids or elderly. It is acceptable for the price

It was ok.
Restroom is small for 4 people to use; no place to put anything. It has a kitchen which is nice, but no soap. Hotel did not provide detergent for the washer either. When I call to see if they have any, they told me to buy it from the convenience store on the ground floor.

Nice hotel - "walkabilty" excellent!
Staff are extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is located between two subway/metro lines and each are close by. It's also very close to a large open market and other shopping areas. The rooms are cleaned everyday and you receive 2 bottes of water everyday plus have access to additional filtered water in the lobby. Each room also has a washing machine, drying rack, large refrig/freezer and stove. The additional amenities makes it very easy to "feel at home" when you're traveling for a longer period of time.
