Very good breakfast and big room

The hotel is located in a small town, 20 min drive from Como. It has a big parking lot outside and a underground parking. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room is very big, clean, with a comfy bed and a huge bathroom. The breakfast was very good. They had all sorts of cakes and pies! Delicious!

A decent place to stay to break your journey

This Hotel is a great place to stop if passing through the area. Breakfast is very good and varied for this price level and the best so far in 14 days of travelling around the LAKES. There is a good restaurant on site but under different management from the Hotel which also does an amazing trade in good value Pissa,s We stayed in the annexe which means going down from the main building,travelling underground and then ascending again, some of the quieter rooms can be found in the annexe as it is a little further from the busy main road.. If the hotel was in a tourist area it would be much more expensive

Das Zimmer (Nr. 102) war sehr froß und gerĂ€umig. Sehr urig! Dicke Holzbalken an der Decke. Tolles neues Bad, jedoch kleine MĂ€ngel. So sind in der herrlich großen Badewanne mit MassagedĂŒsen, die DĂŒsen nicht gut gereinigt und funktionieren far nicht. Das Zimmer war staubig und die herrlichen alten Balken an der Decke mit cm dickem Staub bedeckt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Gehöft, das rechteckig angelegt ist, mit einem kleinen Innenhof zum draussen sitzen. Wirkt alles etwas vernachlĂ€ssigt. Darin befindet sich auch ein wirklich sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren unterwegs nach Istrien und haben hier einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt. Die Lage ist perfekt nahe an der Autobahn. FrĂŒhstĂŒck war reichlich. Herrliches KĂ€sebuffet. Wurst gab es nur Schinken. Aber alles andere prima!

Geniales Hotel zum entspannen

Das Hotel liegt genial und ruhig gleich nach der italienischen Grenze. Das Hotel ist ein schönes umgebautes Bauernhof. Sehr gemĂŒtlich und ruhig. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön dekoriert und man fĂŒhlt sich sehr wohl darin. Das frĂŒhstĂŒck ist der Hammet und sehr reichhaltig. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Utmerket overnattingssted.

Vi har bodd her flere ganger og har alltid vÊrt fornÞyd. Det ligger litt utenfor allfarvei, ute pÄ landet, men det er stille og rolig og det setter vi pris pÄ. Grensen mot Sveits ligger like ved. Restauranten pÄ stedet serverer meget god mat. De tilhÞrer ikke hotellet, men holder til pÄ samme gÄrdstun, og det irriterte litt at de fÞrte opp drinker pÄ regningen som vi ikke hadde verken bestilt eller fÄtt. Dette oppdaget vi neste dag og fikk rettet det opp. Frokosten pÄ hotellet er utmerket, betjeningen meget hyggelig og der er fin gratisparkering. Rimelige priser. Anbefales.

Ideaal voor stop-over overnachting

Empfehlung mit EinschrÀnkungen

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Hund) hatten das Hotel zur Durchreise gebucht. Der Hund wurde pro Tag mit 15€ extra berechnet, was erst bei der BuchungsbestĂ€tigung durch das Hotel mitgeteilt wurde. Das Zimmer lag im neu errichteten NebengebĂ€ude und war nur umstĂ€ndlich durch einen unterirdischen Gang ĂŒber das HauptgebĂ€ude zu erreichen. Das Zimmer selbst war angenehm groß und nett eingerichtet. Im TV wurden deutsche oder englische Programme nicht empfangen. Eine Nachfrage bei der Rezeption (nur auf englisch möglich) ergab keine hilfreiche ErklĂ€rung. Eine Motivation uns diesbezĂŒglich zu helfen fehlte der Dame. Das Hotel ist Teil eines alten GebĂ€udekomplexes. Der Komplex ist geschmackvoll saniert und hat ein tolles Ambiente. Hier kann man den Tag im Restaurant und der Bar entspannt ausklingen lassen. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist reichhaltig und wird sehr schön prĂ€sentiert. Fazit: Empfehlenswert, soweit man auf deutsch-englischsprachiges TV keinen Wert legt.

Chambre bruyante Ă  cause du systĂšme de ventilation. TĂ©lĂ©commande de la TV dĂ©fectueuse. La personne contactĂ©e Ă  la rĂ©ception n'a pas pris en compte ma demande de changement de chambre, nous assurant (Ă  tort) que tout avait Ă©tĂ© vĂ©rifiĂ© et fonctionnait, et m'a rĂ©pondu que sa tĂ©lĂ©commande Ă  la maison faisait la mĂȘme chose (!). PremiĂšre fois depuis plus de 10 ans que je frĂ©quente cet Ă©tablissement que je suis déçu du service, mais les quelques dĂ©fauts d'entretien constatĂ©s les annĂ©es prĂ©cĂ©dentes commencent apparemment Ă  poser problĂšme...

Very good hotel is in the countryside

Very welcoming staff: Valentina, Sonia, Mr. Giuseppe. Very convenient location; about 50-60 min to Lake Maggiore, Lake Como, Milan if you have a car. Swiss border is about 5 minutes from the hotel. Very good breakfast; don't forget to ask Mr. Giuseppe for cappuccino!!!! Would go here again any time.

Tolles Hotel in AutobahnnÀhe

Waren dort zum zweiten Mal auf Durchreise.Das alte Haus ist wunderbar renoviert.Die direkte Umgebung ist etwas belebt,Durchgangsverkehr aber eben auch verkehrsgĂŒnstig fĂŒr eine Durchreise.Sehr freundliches Personal.

Clean, comfortable with an excellent breakfast

Our experience at this hotel was excellent. From the front desk staff to the family members who ran the kitchen/breakfast buffet, all provided exceptional, friendly service. The location is excellent for exploring the northern lakes region and Como is a short drive. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the breakfast buffet is excellent. A large assortment of quality cheeses, fruit preserves, and honey is quite impressive. My wife and I would highly recommend this hotel, and we plan on staying here again when we come back to the area.
