Good value for its price. Ignore review tankers.

Bedroom was tidy, minimally furnished with just the bed and a small desk. The diminished cleanliness quality outside of that was due to having to share common areas (e.g. kitchen, laundry, bathroom, shoe rack, etc.) with other customers: not entirely the proprietor's fault. Bathroom shower had many used soap/shampoo bottles and sponges (left behind by other guests) categorized unironically on this listing as 'free toiletries'. Would not dare to touch them barehanded even if they are free. WiFi access point connected to good quality broadband. Front yard could have been more inviting to guests than a shoddily paved narrow walkway and an unkempt lawn. Proprietor's unmarked cargo van parked in the backyard driveway and blocking most of the view from ground level may be a bit intimidating to basement room guests. The neighbourhood is a quiet residential zone, but it depends on the luck of the draw whether the other customers staying there at the same time are as quiet and considerate of cleanliness as you would be prefer them to be.

Mixed up for a minute....

It was im a very tiny walk way hallwayed basment suite but the room was a decent size except there was no tv or cable and there was other tenants in multiple rooms in the down stairs suite and ita was like door door door door and all numbered and it was just to.muxh like a house full of rooms that are rented ans the guesta in the othwe rooms were loud speaking when when they were in the kitchen and obnoxious in a way from the way they were making their presents known by talking overly loudly to.eachother and the washroom was veey tight and tiny and also when i ordered it online it had said that i would pay at the h Property and thats no credit card was needed but you should have one just in case your where to be charged incidentals or w.e and to pay with what ever way of payments and to call apone arrival to the property and thats exactly what we had done and when we did the land lady had told us that we were not supposed to call and that we were saposed to pay by credit card but it was fixed because i had taken snap shots of everything the site had told me for the payment peocesses and stuff so that there was no issues and cuz i know sum times these things liek this happen so i took the pictures and i showed her that thats wat was told of me to do ans i did and so we payed whit cash and there was no issues and we stayed our night ans if was all good and went quiet well and thats that.

Our stay is great. The location is quiet and clean.. we also get a bit of exercise walking from the location to Edmonds station. The neighbourhood is likewise clean and quiet.

The only thing that was good was the rooms cleanliness. We didn't sleep both the night just because of the noises . There is no privacy moreover the place is always , even in quite hours , the noisy place! This is the first place i experienced with so much noise. People screaming from one room to another at 1 am. People walking upstairs in the middle of night. Its the worst place to stay if you are looking forward to sleep in a quite place after long day.

It's not a hotel. Its a basement fitted for boarding. People upstairs, and who come to clean, are extremely noisy at any hour of the day

Gros problème d'insonorisation avec l'exterieur et l'interieur (on entendait les ronflements dans la chambre d'à côté). Cuisine pratique et salon confortable. Manque de propreté dans la salle de bain. Accueillis par des codes et des notes sur les murs, ça manque de chaleur et d'humanité mais bon dans l'ensemble rapport qualité/prix correct. Parking dans la rue, conseil évitez de vous garer dans les coins à l'ombre et proches de la maison voisine qui ressemble à un squat (notre coffre de toit a été forcé la première nuit mais ce n'est peut être qu'une coïncidence).

Generally a nice place, clean and tidy. There is one problem which I found and that is noise insulation which there is none. You can hear pretty much any movement from other people. It’s not that the other people are noisy, it’s just that the house is very echoey.

Clean and comfortablw

Arrived very late so a number code on the door and our room was very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't work out how to turn the shower on from bath to shower head (FYI you pull the bath faucet down) and after a long haul, some quick instructions for it in the bathroom would've been welcome. Another thing is that the house is in fairly close quarters, so you hear a fair amount of noise from common areas from other guests. This wasn't a major issue for us and we enjoyed our one night stay.

Well located. The main door is difficult to open, needs to be repaired. Some hooks should be added in the bathroom at the lower level. Hooks in the room for towels would be perfect.
