Overall we did have a good experience. Here is a critique of everything overall. The property was pretty nice, and everything is well explained and thought out. Overall, it is a good value. The door knob/ locking mechanism is terrible and leaves you with an uneasy feeling that you will eventually be locked out of your place. We had to call about this, someone came out within two hours, and he left without fixing it and without talking to us about it (after we skipped going out to dinner to be there to make sure he fixed it right). Usually we had to try 5-6 times to get the door to open, and just as many times to ensure that it locked properly. The area is very noisy. It's not just city noise, i think it's because the floors and walls are thin. With that said, I'm not the first to complain because the give you ear plugs. On a sign, they say they also provide a white noise machine but that was no where to be found. There were ants in the kitchen and lots of ants in the bathroom. The beds are not comfortable, the sheets are hard, hot, and noisy, and the pillows are non existent after lying on them for more than a minute. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were quite dirty, the couch was terribly uncomfortable. It seems like they went as cheap as possible on the furniture and it shows. The area is pretty good, ubers are plentiful. Crime is apparently rather bad in the Navy Yard, and while we heard sirens we didn't see anything bad first hand. Next visit w
