Nice Hostal. Would stay again

In a great area in regards to enjoying Montanita night life and the surrounding area. Area is super loud at night so it may be a little hard to get to sleep early in the night.

At the heart of Montanita, BUT !!!

The hotel is right at the heart of Montanita, so it is perfect if you plan to go partying at night, because it will be at walking distance from everywhere. If you are planning to rest it is not the right place since you will hear loud music all night long. If you are not crazy for the location I would recommend you to choose another place to stay. When we arrived the cashier tried to charge us 12% more than the price we reserved in Expedia because we were paying with credit card! We argued so he respected the price in the Expedia reservation. Breakfast is included but it took us 40minutes until the waiter brought us the menu!! (people at the next table were with the menu but left because none went to take their orders in that time!). Service at the restaurant was pretty slow. Finally, while having breakfast a cockroach (little one but still) appeared on the table next to the cutlery... I don't know where it came from... but couldn't eat anymore.

Buena ubicación, pero terrible lo demás

La habitación era mínima, la musica d restaurante se escuchaba a ful volumen y no podia dormir. El personal del restaurante no sabe atender, dan un pésimo servicio y tratan mal cuando se trata del desayuno que incluye el hospedaje. La habitacion era mínima y de los 3 días que me quede lo limpiaron 2 veces. El wifi no servia en la habitación. Pésimo, no lo recomiendo.

We're happy!

We came here to escape a rip off hotel up the road. We were so pleased with our stay! The AC was COLD! Weekends, the noise from the club will keep you awake. The staff is nice and there is a loft full of hammocks. It's right next to the beach and so wonderful!
