サーファーとパーティーPeopleには最適かも

夕方駅から歩いてたどり着いたが、一階のレストランがチェックインカウンターを兼ねているのがすぐわからず、ウェイターの少年も対応に慣れておらず、チェックインはどこだ、と聞いても「Yes」しか返ってこなかった。部屋には冷蔵庫もドライヤーもなく、とても清潔とは言えない。バスルームは砂だらけで、お湯が出ない。一階のレストランは日によって生バンドの演奏が深夜まであり、大音量で眠るには苦労をする。チェックインを担当した若い女性は日本語を勉強中とのことで、日本語が上手だった。部屋にはWiFiがなく、一階のレストランに足を運ぶ必要がある。また、ベランダから海が見えるが、近くにごみを捨てる場所があるのか、魚のすえた匂いがしてのんびりと楽しむことができなかった。

Old and unhealthy hotel

Terrible stay in this old and humid hotel facilities, the walls full of mold and linen as humid as if just been taken out from the washing machine after a spin. The hotel has two building sections which are not shown or even mentioned in the advertisement, one is older than other. I stayed in both being one "newer" than the other but were rain water was constantly liking from the ceiling. The carpet, was all the time wet. I decided to leave as it was impossible to stay in this hotel in such conditions having become litteraly sick.

Rummen är inte i brukbart skick, trasig el över allt och trasiga toaletter och duschar/badkar. Restaurangen på hotellet är dock mycket bra och trevlig personal.

Would not recommend

Couldn’t locate our booking upon checking in, had to book another room to which getting a refund for the second booking (as paid twice) was a big issue for them. Dirty room (ants and sand everywhere), no hot water. Music kept us up till 2.30am after being told the night before it would only go till 12am. At least it’s on the beach...

Wohnen überm Strandrestaurant

Direkt am Hikkaduwa Beach gelegen, ist dieses Hotel an ein gutes großes Restaurant angegliedert. Ein simples Hotel, was aber alles bietet was man braucht. Die Geräuschkulisse besteht aus Straße und Meeresbrandung.

Hikkaduwa dåligt hotell med bra mat

Hotellet var ett gammalt slitet hotell utan städning och utan AC , det stank av gamla sopor så det gick inte att vädra, resturangen var bra och personalen och miljön var toppen . Är gärna där men bo någon annanstans ! Hotellet var alltså riktigt dåligt.

Restaurangen är väldigt bra, men hotellet har stora brister. Inget varmvatten, städning först efter tillsägning dag2, men därefter saknades lakan!??. Wc stolen var sönder?!!! Ta ett annat hotell, men besök gärna restaurangen

Forfærdelig oplevelse

Forfærdeligt. Vi fik apartment og den var i så forfærdelig redelighed at vi kun boede der en nat selvom vi skulle have været der i 4. Vi fik sengelus af at være der en nat. Fik så mange bid en nat. Alt var ved at falde fra hinanden i den lejlighed vi fik. Badeværelset var fordærdeligt. Kakelakker fik vi også besøg af om natten. Vi er ikke sarte. Men når man betaler 60 dollar om dagen var dette under al kritik. Det er ikke for familier!! Men til backpackere.

Surfs up, maintenance required!

Just a surf break so for that it was great. Room was clean but needs some attention. View was amazing but food in comparison to other local places was pricey!

Enklare hotell, men med fantastiskt läge

Här spenderade vi 3 nätter av våran rundresa och hotellet är helt okej. Rummen har okej standard med AC och ganska bra skick i övrigt. Restaurangen vid hotellet var utmärkt och personalen mycket trevlig. Ett enklare hotell men ligger precis på stranden och i bukten utanför finns både ett korallrev och havssköldpaddor på stranden.

Amazing Experience!

The staff at Mamas was so nice- they made us feel like we were all good friends. The restaurant was right on the beach and the view for dinner was unobstructed views of the waves lapping the sand and the sun setting over the ocean. Food was great! The apartment we rented was amazing for the views and the proximity to the beach and town experience. It was also very spacious! We had an amazing time at Mamas. Thank you to everyone there! See you again soon!

Lätt att boka fler nätter som passar mig och min pojkvän bra eftersom vi reser som backpackers.. Rummen var rätt slitna men omgivningen fin. Vi stannade 5 nätter pga av dykning, sol och bad..
