Buena relación precio-calidad. Muy buena atención en la recepción. Una objeción: el desayuno es racionado y super austero, parece una degustación. Por qué sirven solo tres pedacitos de manzana.cortaditos con el cuchillo en el desayuno en un país donde abundan las frutas de todo tipo? Practicamente, una manzana entera les rinde para 6/8 huéspedes. Lo mismo con el cuadradito de mermelada racionada por persona y la mini porción de huevo. Me hacía acordar a una tía tacaña que nos cortaba la torta en pedacitos de 2 x 2 cm. cdo. éramos niños.

Excelente local, preço justo, dicas nota 10

A localização do Pachamama (o nome já é uma escolha muito acertada - é a deusa = Grande Mãe, dos povos indígenas aymará e quechua, dos Andes) é ótima, situa-se no bairro histórico Getsemaní, mas econômico, pois não é área "glamourizada". Melina (proprietária) deu dicas fundamentais para aproveitamento do meu tempo disponível na cidade, seu conhecimento sobre história e tudo que é relativo a Cartagena é impressionante. Segui suas recomendações e foi fantástico, descobrir cada parte dessa cidade incrível. As demais pessoas que trabalham no hostel também estavam sempre dispostas a informar, com simpatia.

Very good hostel

We spent 4 nights in this hostel and we had a good time. The staff is very friendly, it's well maintained and has a great location. The breakfast is one of the best in South American hostels. We had some stress though because of the error of booking system and staff insisting that we should pay more than the reservation says.

Friendly staff, clean rooms.

Incredibley friendly and helpful staff. Safe location with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Free lockers and breakfast was delicious. Within short walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Safe location and friendly staff! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again!

the bare minimum

We had made a reservation a month prior to arrival. At check-in I was told that the Hostel did not accept children, and we had three of them!!! The lady at the counter called the manager and the manager decided that since we were already there, that it was OK to stay. The next three daus were uneventful. Shower and WC ok, beds, OK. breakfast, OK. nothing fancy. Getsemani is about 15-20 minutes wak to the center of Old Cartagena. It is a nice walk, filled with shops, hostels and restaurants. It is an interesting area to stay because Cartagenos actually live in the area! Restaurants, shops and hostels tend to be cheaper here, than in Cartagena centro. A good base for a group of friends to stay in Cartagena for little.

James & the other woman (tall) at reception were so warm and helpful. Very friendly! I loved my stay here!
