Street noise but generally tolerable
Get a room at the back on the main building to minimize street noise (tricycles!). For the 1st night they put us up at the single-room house across the street because a couple extended their stay. The lady manager offered us a P1000 "discount" on any tour but after I inquired in town the price she offered still came out higher. Some discount indeed. We had no choice but to stay there, that room was above some shantytown hut behind it. Get used to wet bathrooms as they are tiny and do not have tubs. A/C ok. Power went down twice in two nights but there was a storm on both nights and the power was down in all of El Nido. It came back on after about 10 min. Wifi worked fine in our street-side room above the reception. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the main street. Stay somewhere else if you want peace and quiet. There's generally no acceptable mid-range options in El Nido so I suggest pay a little more (US$100-120) to receive the minimum comfort you would want
