Suite Regina extra

Arrivée sous des trombes d'eau, nous avons trouvé un bon accueil et surtout la suite regina, appartement du dernier étage avec terrasse et vue sur la mer. Excellent. Très bien placé au centre du village, et typique.

Kind of a mixed bag. We booked for 2 nights well in advance, and then decided to arrive a day earlier and added a 3rd night via a separate booking. It didn't work out that very well, as we got a rather tiny room with an external bathroom the first night. We did rectify this the next day after putting in the request to a much nicer and larger room with an attached bathroom. Not all rooms are equally sized so helps to ask. There is an additional €5 per night for parking to contend with, and whilst you can bring your car up to the top of the square to unload, be prepared for about a 5-7min walk downhill to the parking. Castelmola is situated on the very top of the hill so that's par for course. The views down to Taormina and out to the sea and fantastic, so make sure you get a sea-view room. You won't really meet the staff of the hotel, as all dealings are done with the cafe people out front, who were lovely.

Panorama mozzafiato

La struttura si trova nel piccolo centro di Castelmola un paesino sopra Taormina, il check. In si svolge al bar della piazzetta principale dove la mattina si consuma la colazione inclusa e direi una super colazione con brioche e granite siciliane, spremuta, caffè... Vasta scelta. La struttura non ha uno stile molto nuovo ma la camera dove abbiamo alloggiato noi era spaziosa è dotata del necessario ma la cosa che la valorizza era la vista mozzafiato che potevi ammirare dalle 3 finestre tra cui una con balconcino. Spettacolare. Inoltre per il parcheggio ti viene rilasciato un permesso di. 5€ al giorno e poi parcheggiare nel parcheggio a pochi passi dalla struttura. Noi ci spostavano con il pullman che porta fino a Taormina centro molto comodo. La consiglio!!

The room is fairly basic, but at this cost, you wouldn't expect much. What was beyond description was the view from the balcony. This place is a gem and I 100% recommend. Breakfast down at the Cafe was very nice too. Grazie ragazzi!

È un B&B. Bellissimo panorama, posizione scomoda.

Non si tratta di un hotel, ma di un B&B. Ho pernottato per una notte. Il check in si fa presso il bar nella piazzetta del paese, da cui siamo stati accompagnati verso la nostra stanza. Purtroppo ho avuto problemi a raggiungere la piazza: l'unica strada per avvicinarsi in auto al centro era chiusa per un evento, per cui ho lasciato auto e bagagli presso l'Hotel Villa Sofia (in contatto con il B&B Villa Regina) sulla strada per Castelmola ed abbiamo proseguito a piedi. I bagagli ci sono stati portati più tardi e, appena la strada è stata riaperta, ho portato l'auto in un parcheggio (comunale, a pagamento, pochi euro per la notte -il sito non permette di scrivere tariffe esatte in recensione) più vicino alla residenza. Ciò ha determinato un notevole disagio, nonostante il personale sia stato gentilissimo. La stanza era bene arredata, dotata di tutti i servizi necessari. Unico appunto: c'era scritto che gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni 3gg, salvo particolari richieste: bene per l'ambiente, un po' meno per i turisti ad Agosto. Dal balcone si può apprezzare un bellissimo panorama su Taormina e Giardini Naxos. Buonissima la colazione offerta presso il bar del check in. Consigliato se si viaggia leggeri e si vuol visitare Taormina. Sconsigliato se ci sono difficoltà a trasportare i bagagli (dal parcheggio a pagamento alla piazza c'è una scalinata).

La vue à Castelmola est splendide, toutefois il est difficile de s’y rendre. Difficulté largement compensée par un système d’autobus municipale efficace pour se rendre à Taormina. Le petit bar sur la piazza San’Antonio de Castelmola est bien agréable!

Great little hotel with fantastic sea views

Situated above Taormina (5min by car and a few more by a regular bus plus the option to walk away from streets), you have amazing views over the town below and the sea from your own balkcony. Castelmone (the mountain-top village where it is situated) is itself well worth a trip with its narrow streets and churches. Rooms are nice with en-suite bathroom and (in our case) two great baconies - one facing the sea and one the village.

Taormina, Castelmola, isola bella belíssimas !

Local fantástico, linda e única vista da sa cada, isolada mas ao mesmo tempo muito próxima de Taormina, trecho de ônibus com emoção e linda vista.Ficaria de novo lá. O hotel tem restaurante, pizzaria e café, mas mesmo sendo muita pequena e charmoso, Castelmola oferece outras opções de alimentação principalmente a noite. ...mas vc terá muitas outras outras durante o dia na charmosa Taormina... não deixe de ir a isola bella e fazer descida a pé até Taormina se tiver boa condição física. ...retorno de ônibus.. lindíssimo tudo lá! !

Amazing view

This villa is in a wonderful location and has everything you need. Just a shame the manager wasn't a bit more welcoming - a little bit of information on arrival would have been appreciated and we would have felt more likely to eat in the restaurant! That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you
