Pretty guesthouse in old village

Old house with charm. Large rooms with comfy beds. Good breakfast in nice room. The rooms without bathroom must share a bathroom on a different floor (and the water exit was rather stuck!) The only public parking is far from the house.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely BnB. My husband and I had intended to stay here for our 10 year anniversary but unfortunately were forced to reschedule due to covid. We were lucky enough to stay for our 12 year instead. I cannot say nice enough things about Johanna and Hellen. They took care of us so thoughtfully. The stay included a delicious breakfast in the dining room every morning which powered us through our active days of hiking around the salt pools. The room was wonderfully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. They also have two handsome cats which was a huge bonus for us. There is a ton to do around town within walking distace. There is a beach, nature trails, beautiful views and historical sites right in/from town. If you drive a short 10 mins, the african nature park is definitely worth a visit. If I could give Le Flamant Rouge 100 stars, I would.

Une chambre d'hôtes très vaste et confortable très joliment décorée. Attention les toilettes et la douche ne sont pas au même étage et sont partagés avec les autres locataires. Le village est très joli un peu loin d'une plage si c'est ce que vous recherchez. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Attention il est interdit de se garer dans le village. Il vous faudra donc laisser la voiture assez loin.
