Nice hotel, the room is big and confortable

They need air conditioning, but I'm happy because those days didn't have high temperatures. The people of the staff looks did not look very friendly.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to everything but far enough to not hear clubs if you want to sleep. Nice simple breakfast. The only complaint is the wifi in my room was spotty.

Was not able to process my credit/debit card. Made me leave and go to an ATM to get cash before they'd check us in. Hotel advertises it takes card but be prepared that it may not. Wanted to pay with my credit card but ended up having to use my debit which altered my budget. Room had bugs on the sheets. Shower fluctuated from hot and cold the whole time. Sheets were like paper. One night cost me $190. Surge pricing for NYE but it still was waaaay too much for the service and setting.

My stay here was delightful. The staff I met were super sweet and welcoming, especially Marco and Vanessa. I had a room with a big comfy bed (harder mattress, which I prefer) and a balcony overlooking the street. There's hot water if you let the shower run for a minute, and I appreciated the daily fresh towels! The hotel is away from the party street, so it's quieter at night. But you can walk everywhere, including the beach, within minutes. The buffet breakfast was perfect for me (fruit, yogurt, oats, eggs, bread, coffee). There's always good music playing, I had no trouble with the wifi, and it's a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend! Oh, and they have Czech beer on tap ;)

Great place to stay!

I'm a volunteer living in Ecuador and went to Montañita for a weekend trip. I loved staying at Hurvinek! The staff was great and super helpful. The location was perfect, as it's a short walk to the beach, but far enough away that it's not too loud at night. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to the action but not too close.

Good option slightly off the main drag. This is a party town and quiet rooms are hard to find. This one is close but my room faced the road and a few hostals. I slept well on the firm bed but partcular people might complain. Room cleanliness was good but the bathroom could use some bleach. For the price it is a good choice. If you want quiet and AC you may have to find another town.
