A magnificent place to spend a few nights.

The owner was super helpful and welcoming if we had any questions. The rooms and facilities as a whole were extremely clean and brand new. Hot shower and a bathtub was a big plus. Also their home cooked lunch we had before departure was great. Big balcony (i mean actually really big) with a view of the mountainside. Would definitely stay again!

Recommandé fortement!! Perché dans la forêt, loin du tumulte de Kandy, cet hôtel est tout simplement magique! Les hôtes sont très gentils, la chambre propre a une vue imprenable et les petits déjeuners sont copieux! On vous recommande de dîner sur place, c’est délicieux!

What a great place! Clean, comfortable, and quiet. So close to the forest reserve, and a very helpful host who wants you to enjoy the area.

Jättefint boende, rent, bekväma sängar och trevligt ägarpar. Mycket bra frukost som till och med våra kräsna barn var nöjda med. God middag. Allt perfekt!

Good place to stay near Kandy

Overall we were very satisfied with this Villa/Residence/Homestay As a family of 5, we had a lot of space with the 2 rooms and everything was very clean & tidy Host is super friendly and very accommodating. We had the sense to have great value for money The location is a bit far from Kandy - about 20 min by car, but the host taxied us for free various times and we came back by taxi or tuk-tuk, no problem. Plus, you get away from the hustle of busy Kandy and get to breath fresh air too ! We were served great meals and breakfast and nothing we asked was ever too much. The shower needs repair to become warm and the internet is on/off Overall I can certainly recommend this place

気持ちの良いゲストハウス

初ゲストハウス泊です。日本でもペンションや民宿にほとんど宿泊した事がないので、その前提での感想です。 場所はちょっとわかりづらいですがタクシーやスリーウィラーであれば大丈夫だと思います。 お願いすれば送迎もできるようです。事前にサイト経由で確認がありました。 到着時はこじんまりした様子に戸惑いましたが、建物も新しく清潔でエアコン、シャワー等も快適です。シャンプーがなかったのでお願いしてしまいましたが申し訳なかったです。歯ブラシ、ドライヤーはないです。 夕食は町で食べてきましたが、他の宿泊客の食事がとても美味しそうだったので、急遽一人分お願いしました。オーナーの奥様が丁寧に作られているのが伝わってくるお食事で、この食事がスリランカ滞在中一番のお気に入りになりました。キャンディにもう1泊したいぐらい!(^^)! 翌日の朝食も充分な果物、3種のパン、卵料理と派手さはないですがどれも美味しかったです。 オーナー夫妻の真面目で前向きな姿勢がとても印象的でした。 変わらずに頑張って欲しいです。

A true experience of Sri Lanka

• For a real taste and experience of Sri Lanka.. especially Kandy, spending a few days here with Ranga, his wife Nirasha and his daughter has been an absolute experience that we will never forget, thanks to this beautiful family. We booked 3 nights, we loved it so much we booked another night. Ranga took us to Sigiriya and back one day, it took 5 hours return drive, he also took us to Pidurangala rock the same day and came along for the climb which was really nice! He also drove us to Rambukkana one day where we went to the Millennium Elephant Foundation. The night we arrived home from Sigiriya, Nirasha had prepared us a buffet style dinner of authentic Sri Lankan foods, we had a drink with Ranga that night and talked for hours it was lovely! Ranga would always offer to drive, and along the way he would talk to us about the culture, lifestyle, local fruits and food, local wildlife, events and the different religions of Sri Lanka, we learnt so much from him and were able to see as much of Kandy as we'd hoped and more! Nirasha would also make us a different Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. On our last night Ranga took us to a local fruit and veg market and a fish market where we picked the veg and fish for our dinner. That evening Nirasha gave us a cooking lesson, she taught us all about authentic Sri Lankan foods and spices, the health benifits of the vegetables we used and the authentic Sri Lankan methods of cooking. Their hospitality was 5* and nothing short of genuine.
