Nettes ruhiges Guesthouse außerhalb von Knysna

Empfang war sehr nett und die Lage des Guesthouse etwas außerhalb von Knysna ruhig mit einer schönen Aussicht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Gemeinschaftsräume sehr nett eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war allerdings nicht besonders gut. Risse in den Wänden, Türen der Schränke nur mit heben und ziehen zu schließen, und der Mini-Fernseher hatte nur 2 Programme - und die waren von sehr schlechter Qualität. Betten ware in Ordnung. Schön war das reichhaltige Frühstück auf der Terrasse und der Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück. WLAN hat super funktioniert.

House needs some updates.

While the staff was very nice and helpful, I will not recommend this facility to anyone the rooms were old, with visible cracks in the wall and ceiling. No air-conditioning at all. Bed creaked. Definitely not worth the money we paid. There are other facilities in the area that are better.

Nice and friendly hotel

Nice and clean. Very friendly staff and owners. Very good breakfast. You need a car because it is a little bit outside the small beautiful city. Will come back and stay a little bit longer.

Auf dem ersten Blick ein sehr schönes Hotel

Hatten im Internet nach Zimmern gesucht ohne Teppich und auf Ihren Bildern von Expedia sah man nur Fliesen aber leider haben nur zwei Zimmer Fliesen und die waren ausgebucht.Wir bekamen ein Zimmer das abgewohnt war.Stinke Teppiche und eine Matratze wo die Matratzenfedern einen die ganze Nacht nicht haben schlafen lassen quitschen sowie Rückenprobleme war unser fazit.

Solides Guesthouse mit netten Gastgebern

Große Zimmer und lecker Frühstück. Free Wifi und Parkmöglichkeiten direkt im Hof. Guesthouse sehen bemüht Tipps zu geben hinsichtlich Restaurantempfehlungen, Ausflüge. Pool existiert und sah auch einladende aus.

Location was extremely difficult to find at night, even with directions. Employee (Sandy) did stay on phone to assist in our arrival. Owners scolded help at breakfast in front of us about laundry. Very disrespectful and degrading of help. Blind, irritable dog should be kept away from guests!

Rooms

The room we were given smelled damped and seemed like it was used or aired in a long time. The bed sheets had stains on them and looked unwashed. We were given another room and it had the same issue. Stains on the bed sheets and pillows and it smelt damp. We asked for a refund but the owner/manager was not pleased about it. We had to explain that it was not up to standard and it has caused us an inconvenience. Then was given a refund reluctantly. I will definitely not stay here.

Comfortable resort

We had difficulty in locating the resort.The owners need to place correct signage to help visitors to locate the resort easily. Breakfast needs to improve.Microwave and toaster should be easily accessible in the evening.Otherwise the resort is a good place to stay.The view from the terrace is breathtaking.It has lots of privacy.The management interaction is satisfactory.
