The property was not clean .the tv in the room did not work or the tv in the lounge . The shower didn’t work .couldn’t have a shower while I was there .Called the phone numbers supplied but nobody answered . Had to leave after 2nights because I couldn’t have a shower after the hikes . They had the money they didn’t care .

Avoid at all costs

Seemed fine when we arrived. The room was OK, basic but what we expected...however, what we did not expect was that the place had been hired out for an all night party. From around 11pm until 5am there was constant shouting, screaming, fighting, laughing from a group of revellers. At one point a very aggressive fight broke out with screaming and furniture being thrown/knocked over. My family did not feel safe at all. There did not seem to be anyone representing the accommodation there at all, and clearly there was no reasoning with a bunch of drunken party goers. This was a disgusting state of affairs...we had no sleep and actually feared for our safety at times, totally unacceptable. Avoid at all costs, should not be allowed to operate in this way.

The staff (especially Arlene)were very accommodating and had responded to requests straight away. The location was unforgettable, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return again I would recommend some recycle bins in kitchen.

At the base of the Mourne mountains...absolutely the best place to stay for hiking the mournes! Options besides rooms and hostel dorm include places to pitch your tent! Will be back for sure!!

Really nice and convenient

We had a really enjoyable stay and it suited us perfectly. The location was great for hiking in the Mournes and the kitchen meant we could cook and store food, especially helpful during the pandemic! The only two downsides were that the wifi wasn't working, they did give us access to the codes for the bistro and hostel accommodation but it didn't work in the wee house we were in which was a bit frustrating. The shower also, whilst hot, could do with an update as its incredibly weak, not what you want after a tiring days walk.
