We loved this place! It was perfect for our family of 5 and we were able to walk everywhere. The locals were super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This place is spacious and in a good location. It was a 10 minute walk to all of Edinburgh’s attractions. There is an overnight car park around the corner. There are several places to eat nearby as well.

Walkable to castle, apartment could use more pillows/blankets and carpet in bedrooms could be changed. Beds not really comfortable and shower is incredibly small. You are right on the street near clubs so it is quite loud. It is stairs so pack light, only 1 flight however.

Someone making a lot of money from tourists.

Place was clean. Equipment was a joke. Notices about theft but no inventory. 1 tea spoon, 2 forks, 3 knives, no other cutlery. No peeler, grater, nothing. TV with no remote. windows that nearly shut, blind that was broken (string off) so couldnt be opened. No response from agents despite emails. We had to go out to eat or the 5 of share a tea spoon for soup etc.No information, no maps. In fact, nothing of anysort - no books, magazines etc Poor, very poor.

The lock on the front door is very difficult to work - we spoke to a couple of people who live in the building who also said the same thing. Also no indication as to which lockbox contains the key as there are multiple on the wall. The apartment itself is lovely, very spacious and a great location, although loud at night due to single glazing windows and being above and opposite pubs. We were very disappointed upon arrival to see that the bath was out of use though - would have been good to know in advance as we had 2 young children with us which we had specified at time of booking so showers were difficult for them. We found that the host doesn’t respond to emails or texts.

Lock on the front door of the apartment block was difficult to use had to get another person in the apartment block to let us in. Intercom didn’t work.
