Brand new top floor apartment with balconies on 2 sides within walking distance of subway, parks, and the Acropolis. Very easy to check in.

Although the area is not great outside the property the apartment hotel is amazing and has very secure facilities. Overall I highly recommend this place to stay if visiting the Acropolis as it’s not too far and the apartments are excellent. Just make sure you get transport to the apartment if arriving at night.

Great experience!

We had an excellent stay! Argyris was super responsive, and the amenities were better that we expected. The location was a 10 minute walk from all the excitement at Monastirakis Square. We’re coming back soon!

Our stay here was excellent! Chris was super friendly and provided us with great recommendations on food and places to see. Appearances aside the area was very safe. Our stay was very close to many of the hot attractions such as the Acropolis and Monastiraki being about a 20 - 25 minute walk away. The property was well managed and very clean inside wth great amenities. We were very comfortable in our room and had an overall amazing time here. Would highly recommend to anyone who is a bit adventurous and open to walking around to get to places.

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay here at the Andromeda Penthouse suite. Very spacious, clean and beautiful suite! Comfy bed! We felt safe with the security code system too. Very close to train station and there’s a cafe nearby called the Bread Factory for the best pastries, cakes, wraps and delicious food. We will defo return again.

a not bad choice

The interior decoration and size are very satisfactory. It is very close to the commercial center and the subway station, about two streets away. The only disadvantages are that the street outside is not very clean and you may be woken up at night by someone driving past. Secondly, there may be a brothel next door lol.

The location isn't in the best part of town - not desperately unsafe, but not exactly Athens at its best! The Starlight Residence however is excellent: modern, clean, well furnished, quiet.

Excellent hotel to stay despite the sketchy neighborhood. Although it's close to monastiraki square and other popular areas, walking towards your hotel at night could feel a bit uncomfortable. Nothing happened of course, but always use caution. However, once inside the hotel, you feel perfectly safe. The room was very super clean, staff was always available in case you needed anything. On a side note, I'd recommend taking Omonia station to get there, a bit of a longer walk to get there but better access for your luggage. Overall an affordable, secure and clean hotel to stay in Athens.

The apartment was amazing and is located close to a lot of nice places (10 mins by foot to psirri or gazi where a lot of restaurants/bars are)…but as it seems typical for Athens there are very shady areas very close by the beautiful ones. You could feel uncomfortable but then again two blocks down the road you have nice bars and Restaurants. However moving along by taxi is no issue at all at night.

The accommodation was recently renovated, so in good condition. I was uncertain about the area, especially when I arrived I did feel unsafe. As I became more familiar with it, I felt safer. Our taxi driver did warn as about walking around at night when he dropped us off. The distances from focal points is misleading on Expedia. For instance the acropolis is about 45 minute walk, not 16 as shown on the site.

I had a disappointing stay at this residence. The area around the hotel was very unsafe and sketchy, with people openly using drugs nearby. It was unsettling, and I didn’t feel comfortable walking around outside. Moreou, the hotel staff was unresponsive. When I had issues or needed assistance, it took them far too long to respond, which made the entire experience even more frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value your safety and expect decent service.

The Starlight Residence is conveniently located. I was able to walk to most places...everything within a kilometer. The area doesn't look great, but as a single "senior" woman traveling alone, I did not feel unsafe in the area. The Wyndham Hotel is licated 2 blks away, and they had a nice restaurant. There was also a Vietnamese restaurant next door. Communication with the staff at Starlight was excellent. They ordered the taxi for me to go to the sirport. The apartment studio was niceky furnished and the air conditioning worked very well. It was HOT! outside, so very good to have a cool room! If you're an adventurous traveler, I recommend the Starlight Redidences. You are on yiur own, no onsite staff...but they are only sn email or call awsy!

We liked the room itself. Everything was clean, bed was nice and seemed pretty secure. The metro was only about 3 blocks away. We really didn't like the neighborhood. It had a smelly dumpster right outside the front gate. It was tipped over for half the stay. Walking home after dinner didn't feel safe. It was very dark and fairly seedy. The front gate was broken and wouldn't lock for the last 2 days, we let the people know but it wasn't fixed before we left. There was construction across the street which started early, even on Saturday morning. There was no tea or coffee which is usually provided by most hotels and air b and bs. There were no maps or pamphlets pointing out restaurants or places to go with alternative ideas on how to get there. Finally there was live music going on somewhere near the residence, very loud, till 2 am Sunday morning.
